You mentioned this was requested by Glennis Grace. If this is THE Glennis Grace you really should react to her singing. She does covers, Whitney Houston, Prince etc. many with Candy Dulfer. IMO the best Whitney covers I have ever heard. Incidently Candy toured with Prince. He famously said, "and when I need sax, I call for candy"
Crap, this slipped passed me, I'm a big Oleta Adams fan! She was discovered by Tears For Fears back in the day, they did the song Woman In Chains together. I had the album Circle Of One which this song is from and another fave from it is Rhythm of Life. Thanks for the great reaction, Matt!

I love this song. It’s up there in my category “longing songs” with “So far away” and “Home again” from Carole King, “Home” from Michael Bubble and so many others. It says: “I love you, I miss you, I know we would have such a great time together”... I think we can all relate right now. I totally agree with you about singers being instrumentalists. I sing and play piano and my favorite artists often fit in that category: Carol King, Laura Nyro, Billy Joel, Elton John, Sting, Sara Bareilles. This performance is so connected. Fantastic.
