I have been trying to decide what to get for small trees/branches. But have no experience with a chain saw. Trying to find real USE reviews ( not just numbers) for different tools for these tasks has been hard. Thank you!

This works great, and is much safer than a chain saw in my opinion.

Thank you for this review and demonstration of the saw in action. As I've gotten older, I've been struggling with using a hand saw for all my tree trimming, but I'm terrified of using a chain saw! This seems like the perfect solution. You always put out the most useful videos. Alaska Granny, you rock!!

Thank you very much for the review. I just ordered one from Amazon myself. This cuts much faster than any reciprocating saws.

Funny thing I just left our local lumber yard and priced a small electric chainsaw. It doesn’t have guard’s like yours

    • @AlaskaGranny

I like this far better than a chainsaw, because they can be very dangerous. The alligator works great, and I feel confident and safe using it. Here is a link to where I bought it on amazon. amzn.to/3pqUE2l

This would be perfect for me. I was trying to find something better to trim up my Jupiter Beards. Their stalks are like bamboo and I usually have to get in there with pruning shears and cut the stalks one at a time. Thank you for this. People don't be rude pigs, take your stuff to the dump. Which is not you neighbor's property.
