Hey there..I didn’t check to see if someone else suggested this. If so, sorry. To keep the mold away, keep the bathroom door open during(if possible) & after showers. If there is an exhaust fan use it, that will keep the moisture out. If you have a regular house fan, set it up outside of the bathroom facing into the bath to dry out the bathroom after showers. Keep the door open as much as you can. This will help tame all of the moisture/mold. 😉

Hey Michelle, I would replace the yellowish cabinets above the toilet and sink. Also the shelf above the sink. New (and larger) cabinets in light wood would give the room warmth and comfort. In addition, I would get a bunch of nicely colored towels and place a large carpet in the middle of the room that covers large parts of the tiles. Here and there a little decoration/candles and then it will certainly look much better. You‘re doing a great job, thanks for sharing. Kind regards from northern Germany ❤️

Enjoyed the video. Would recommend you get a small dehumidifier or add a small fan to help pull moisture out of the air. They definitely help reduce the mold growth. And recaulking the cracks and/or a UV light may help after you treat mold.
I’ve been using the fan and opening the windows since this video. It has helped so much 🤗💚. If it comes back I’ll call the housing people. Hopefully it stays away

hey, mold dies if you treat it with surface alcohol and later you can clean it with chlorine then it won't come back. maybe a shelf, a plant and a round carpet from H&M would look good 😘

💚💚💚 The bathroom is not my favorite room to clean, but it is most satisfying when I am done. If the mold keeps coming back you may want to wipe that wall with some tea tree oil and see if that may help hold it down.

It’s hard to get mold in a bath with a window.. so it is a sign for not a correct way of heating and opening window.. with our way of brick/ stone houses.. only warm air can mold.. important is to diagonal airing 10/15 mins full open window instead of longer but on the small open (don’t know the English word).. :)
Seeing you cleaning the mold have definitely taking me back to last year the mold was so bad in my bathroom that I got it treated and it came back and so I didn't have a choice but to get the whole bathroom ripped out and replaced 🙃 😔

Hello RyanMichelle, welcome to Germany. I see you have a problem with the ceiling in the bathroom, if you live to rent you should contact the landlord who is responsible for that. This problem is very common here in Germany. I hope the translation program translates this well.🙂
Mold and mildew grow in places where there is damp,no ventilation and sunshine.Bathroom windows and doors need to be left open for sunshine and fresh air.It does reduce mold formation.
Great job cleaning that mold!💚 I'm wondering if you add a plant that thrives in a humid environment will help with the mold? I also crack the window after my shower to cut down on the moisture. How about a fan in the bathroom too?
So happy I found you, I love your both of your channels! Also, housing should be able to give you a dehumidifier or two! We are stationed in Italy and had the same issues with mold and housing here gave us two for free we just have to return them before we leave! I’m not entirely sure if it will be the same in Germany but it’s worth a shot to ask :)
Hi Ryan Michelle, Love the videos, can u open the window, especially when showering as it should let the steam out, and you have less moisture in the bathroom, I know it's winter over there, then close it about an 1 hour after, hope this helps, I'm surprised they don't have an exusation fan in there.

I'm curious to know the year of your home. When I grew up our house was an original Farmhouse built in the late 1800s, with the low slanted ceilings like your home. ❤
thank your for this Sis because i definitely needed this motivation:) I'm a new subscriber also and I have the same mold situation due to lack of ventilation, but I happen to come across this product called Damprid and it helps with moisture to keep the mold situation down . i hope this helps you with this mold situation. Get one of those rotating fans and put it in the bathroom. This way it can dry the bathroom after the showers. You can get a space heater also...

That is my go to for mold. I love Tilex, it tackles the mold. I also use it on stains on white clothes only. It takes out every stain!!

It’s hard to get mold in a bath with a window.. so it is a sign for not a correct way of heating and opening window.. with our way of brick/ stone houses.. only warm air can mold.. important is to diagonal airing 10/15 mins full open window instead of longer but on the small open (don’t know the English word).. :)

Seeing you cleaning the mold have definitely taking me back to last year the mold was so bad in my bathroom that I got it treated and it came back and so I didn't have a choice but to get the whole bathroom ripped out and replaced 🙃 😔

Hi I really enjoy your video. I love your bedroom if you more the night stand over to the right and move the bed over just a little to give you more room in the other side. You can move your dresser over a little to the right and that will you give more room in the other side. I need an amazing job.🌺

Oh no not mold!! Not sure if you’re on base or off base but housing would make y’all move if it continues to be persistent. Especially if there is no way for ventilation! I hope it stays away!

Mold and mildew grow in places where there is damp,no ventilation and sunshine.Bathroom windows and doors need to be left open for sunshine and fresh air.It does reduce mold formation.
Great job cleaning that mold!💚 I'm wondering if you add a plant that thrives in a humid environment will help with the mold? I also crack the window after my shower to cut down on the moisture. How about a fan in the bathroom too?

So happy I found you, I love your both of your channels! Also, housing should be able to give you a dehumidifier or two! We are stationed in Italy and had the same issues with mold and housing here gave us two for free we just have to return them before we leave! I’m not entirely sure if it will be the same in Germany but it’s worth a shot to ask :)

Love the videos, can u open the window, especially when showering as it should let the steam out, and you have less moisture in the bathroom, I know it's winter over there, then close it about an 1 hour after, hope this helps, I'm surprised they don't have an exusation fan in there.

I have no idea but I know they are pretty old. They usually come in and renovate a few areas but not much. It’s old lol

Hi Ryan Michelle , don't know if you have something like this in Germany, but it may help in the bathroom. I tried to show a pic , anyway it's called damp rid, it takes the moisture out of the bathroom, hope this helps
