This video and every other video depicting a South Carolina football game is dedicated to a dear friend of mine from high school and her family. On August 15, just about two weeks before the season got underway, her father very unexpectedly passed away while at work. He was a huge Carolina fan, and by all accounts a great person and loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in peace, and my continued thoughts and prayers are with you all. 🙏🙏🙏

Now that the Woodruff season is in the books, it’s time for a COCK FIGHT!!! …talk about a tonal shift am I right? One week it’s the rampant emotions following Woodruff’s first top 3 finish at state since 2010, the next week it’s the rampant emotions resulting from almost-embarrassment against a first-year FBS team and losing any and all right to the gamecock nickname…thankfully that didn’t happen 🙃 🙃 🙃
Anyways, it’s the Gamecock Bowl between the South Carolina Gamecocks and the Jacksonville State Gamecocks, with the OG Gamecocks picking up a much-needed win to start a four game homestand to wrap up the 2023 season.
