Lin Dunn and Sides are the ones holding the Fever back, and especially Clark!!!Everyone can see Sides is not a coach, not even a high school coach, but she does have the talk to make you think she knows. The US women's 3 on 3 Olympic basketball team lost their first 3 games. This would have been a perfect fit for Caitlin with her 3 point shooting skill. A missed gold medal.

You're wrong about 2 things.
1) CC is averaging 35 min/gm as she also averaged 35/gm at Iowa. She always covers the other team's weakest player so she exudes very little energy on defense. It's pretty much accepted that team's best players only go hard on one end of the court - ie Steph Curry, Jamal Murray, etc
2) Cheryl Miller last coached in the WNBA in 2000. She won barely half her games 57%. She's not proven she's a great coach at the professional level.
She turns 61 in January so her energy is on the downhill side. She's not the coaching answer for CC.
I know nothing about women's basketball so I can not suggest a coach. Whomever it is needs to give CC the keys and say DO WHAT YOU DO. Lisa Bulder comes to mind for a short term remedy and have her develop someone to take over in a couple of years.
I've been a bit worried that CC is getting too much publicity on social media. I think there is such a thing as 'Too much publicity'. Publicity is a double-edged sword so it's about quality not quantity. She is so young and only human and the fame machine will be feeding on her. I hope she has good mentors and advisors on her side. She's a tough cookie sure but important to protect oneself and look after yourself too. It's not being selfish.
Clark should rest for two years. Let the WNBA lose all the benefits that Clark gave them.

At first, there were other players who blatantly fouled her hard, but the penalties for those fouls were inadequate for the foul committed. That's the fault of the league.
I've tried to watch every game she's played if it's broadcast on my DIRECTV package, and she's packing out AWAY arenas on a regular basis... arenas that are never sold out for the resident WNBA team.
Her skills have done nothing but accelerate since she started in the WNBA, and I'm really looking forward to the rest of their season. In my book, Caitlin Clark has quite a bit more to show us.

She is awesome. As an outsider I think the wnba and more could cash in from Caitlin existence. Go to the audience really change the game. Add a 4 point line at logo shots She has gotten more players pushing the envelope. Then a 5 point line at half court. Make it a 6 on 5 defense plays six offense five. Change the shot clock to 10-15 seconds. There are so many things you could do. Main thing is audience pays the bills. Make it fun they will come in by the droves. And envolve the audience. If the Fever want to become a dynesty, a change in coaching staff is mandatory. Then the Fever needs to strengthen the players around her, this will make the entire team stronger. And it will take some of the pressure off No.22 allowing her some badly needed rest during the long season.
The season might be six months but they only play 40 games, less than half of the NBA, 10 games more than in college AND her playing time is about equal to what she played in college. Too bad she badly needs rest. Suck it up - everyone else who plays does.

There's no way Miller is taking over. They are going to continue. Listen to what the GM says about the attacks on Sides. Plus Sides is trying to connect to CC. It seems clear that Sides is going to let CC lead. The 40 minutes was what Clark wanted that night. Clark is working with Sides for better defense. We'll see. You are right on the new contracts but they wouldn't get voided until the end of the season.

The Fever needs a great coach that can help them and not let same players destroy the team. We can all see that the coaches and referees have been working against her. Please, Pete made the passes. plus, he was not a point guard since he only averaged 5.4 assists per game while Clark in her half a season is averaging 12.5.
