Renjini was insulting Somu apparently. But please do not blame the judges. Mr. Namboothiri was there to judge the kacheri. If he shows any sentiments to Somu, it would be an injustice to other contestants who learned hard and worked on music, as this is a competition. So, as a judge, he did a good job. At the same time, he asked Somu to excuse him which shows he had no other consideration but musical judgement. Renjini's case, I would agree with you all that he has clear partiality for some.

I have full sympathy for Somu's economic background but it does not justify such an unprepared performance to ISS, the esteemed judges, participants & viewers. Ok Renjini was a bit harsh to Somu, but then she is a very emotional person & reacts spontaneously to a situation. She has chided other artistes in the past so what is the big deal! Competitors should forfeit rather than participate & make a fool of themselves in such rounds! Asianet, Judges and Renjini, keep up the good work!
