Dude - this is metal. Expect the vocals to be 10 times better than any other genre! This is normal to us metalheads!! Yannis Papadopoulos has an amazing range and can sing, high, low, clean and growly/raspy as well.
If I'm not mistaken that's how music videos usually work it's audio played over the video so yes technically it's lip syncing That being said yes the lead singer can really hit those notes if you want proof go to his RUclips channel and listen to some of his covers
There is some "fun" history behind. There is Battle Beast, which has female vocalist. The writer for BB actually got thrown out out of BB (for not allowing other members to write songs!), and joined BiB, so the overall feeling is very close. For some time I confused heavily both bands
@@JavaJane87 what's amazing is that Noora, the Battle Beast singer, can do things with her voice which I think female singers are very rarely capable of doing. So she and Yannis are like twins 😂
Listen to Ghost in the Rain next please! It shows off the singer's vocals off even more and might even make you cry. Beast in Black is amazing as hell! Also when billy said "so you just have all of the talent, no pokemon cards for anyone else" had me dying!
Dude, Yannis has a very powerful voice that can bend and flex to sound like whatever he wants. But the real secret is: Everyone's voice can do that. All you have to do is practice, and stop *caring* about how you sound. You might also enjoy Van Canto's "The Quest for Roar".
No Lipsync. That is Yannis Papadoupolos. The 80ies Party Metal Band. Fun to watch them. Very unexpected...Before the Nightwish Concert started. I was not sure if i like that Sound but i ended up screaming along ..cause i didn't know them or the Lyrics. Der geht ab.
Just got into this band myself, and yes, Yannis' vocals, and vocal range are off the charts amazing! He reminds me of the late Brad Delp, lead singer for Boston, who as you know from listening/reacting to More Than a Feeling could do amazing things with voice too.
Billy your audio is out of balance with what you are reacting to. Your voice is louder than the band and it makes it difficult to hear what the lead singer really sounds like. Don't know if I'm the only one but thought you should know.
I still don't understand the point of this kind of video showing someone listening something and saying some uselessness about what he heards. What is the point, seriously ? I will make soon a video showing me reacting to nothing at all just to see how many views I will have 😁
For me it's about sharing a feeling and being glad that people like the things I like as well. That and the initial reaction people have to Beast in Black is usually amusing because of the lead singer's voice. (Billy wasn't as blown away initially as many others, but his surprise definitely set in quickly.) Look up Galacticriminal's reaction if you want a better idea of what I mean.
pretty sure someone has already made similar reactions, like just watching paint drying, but if they haven't, you might be on to something here. Try it out maybe you get millions of views.

That's actually pretty funny haha. Well worded!
I mean, in music from the last 25+ years, they might do
metal, we know just saying
Beast in black: We need male and female vocalists
Yannis: Hold my beer
Lol
Amaranthe looking in envy behind him
I love watching people react to Yiannis voice for the first time 😂
yannis is a beast Billy
check his cover of Ghost Love Score
YES...OMG..YES
Still waiting for him to drop his reaction to Nightwish's Greatest Show on Earth
Yannis' solo duets are always fun.

Well he's also layered, but we forgive him.
The first time I heard it, two whole weeks ago, I said "she sounds pretty." Then I watched the video.
Oof. But I AM IN LOVE!!

@@Vatharian That's interesting! I didn't know that. What's your favorite from each? I'm intrigued and want to listen now.

I don't know many Battle Beast songs yet, but you shouldn first hear Black Ninja, and then this ruclips.net/video/EVyqyS5jGJc/видео.html

Ghost in the Rain made my eyes sweat, so yeah.
its bands like beast in black that reinforce my opinion that metal is best
Great reaction...I agree! Wild ride for sure! Never heard of them...but I liked it!
I know what im checking out now after this need to hear more from these
Man... you started like "😐" and ends up finishing like "😃". I couldn't stop smiling myself
OMG YOU'RE WATCHING BEAST IN BLACK?!?!?!?!?! I'M SO EXCITED!!!!!
Best review yet. Yes thats his voice
This band gives such nostalgic 80s/90s action movie vibes. Love them.
BEAST IN BLACK - From Hell With Love
From hell with love is also a good one from beast in black
When I discovered them i was convinced they had a female vocalist too. 😮
I didn't expect that either lol
His reaction to the guitar solo is amazing
He's a countertenour

Listen to poet of the fall- carnival of rust
Yes!! Not enough people have heard them!
I love this band and i love seeing peoples reaction to it !!! :-D

Didn’t expect that. Dude has some pipes
Its his voice over dubbed in layers

You haven't heard it until you hear Dan Vasc's version. He sings all the parts, too!
You should listen/watch Yannis's cover of Ghost Love Score. =)
This band is finnish. See? FINLAND EXISTS!
Best heavy metal in the world comes from Finland
How old is this sounds so 80s I like it
not that old... like 2015 or around that area
2017 i think
You wanna hear 80's? Look up Sweet True Lies by Beast in Black, they specifically gear it to be as 80s as possible, right down to the music video.
In metal we have the freedom to be creative & yes that’s his real voice people got to understand we don’t use auto tune they can actually sing
Yannis is a beast. And he wears black. So.... "Beast In Black" is probably the most appropriate band name ever.
Neuschwanstein eins der schönsten Schlösser in Deutschland
Dynazty. Try it
U need to check out Adam Calhoun's song "racism"
You think you could react to Colorblind by Panda Eyes? It’s a bit different from your usual reaction stuff but it’s amazing
Listen to From Hell With Love by Beast in Black
Angel with a shot gun by nightcore
Nope, just Yannis flexing them pipes. Guy has the talent of those six people. 😅
Yep, that's Yannis. 🙂
Hey Billy, how do I suggest a video or two for you to react to? Think I found two Sabaton songs you may like
Just name the songs.
@@narcissaclink3653 oh, that easy?

I thought blacks only like hip hop, rap and reggaeton
