I am rewatching and I just finished the hunter exam arc and I was thinking about that too. But now that I think about it it makes sense, Killua is definitely much stronger than Gon pretty much up until the end (except for when Gon skips years lol) but one of Killua's most obvious traits is his cautiousness, his assassin training planted this in his brain "don't fight anyone stronger than you" "don't fight when victory isn't guaranteed" "you should always find a way to escape when facing people stronger than you", everyone who took the exam that year was weaker than Killua except for Hisoka, Illumi and Hanzo, he showed no fear whatsoever since he was definitely going to win no matter what. We didn't see a direct encounter between Killua and Hisoka in the hunter exam but Killua warned Gon a few times telling him to stay away from Hisoka or that he is a big threat and so on, if Killua had to face him he would have ran away immediately to save himself since he knows that he has no chance against him. Gon on the other hand is reckless, simple-minded and not much of an overthinker, he doesn't fear fighting people stronger than him and his ego doesn't allow him to give up or run away, he chose to help Leorio when Hisoka attacked him, he chose to get Hisoka's ID batch instead of getting 3 others, he didn't fear facing Hisoka who is definitely much stronger than him. That's probably what interests Hisoka the most since Gon is very similar to him, he loves fighting strong people even if his life is on the line, but of course Gon is a hundred times less creeoy than Hisoka lol. One other reason might be that Killua is Illumi's brother and he doesn't have time to fight Illumi after he kills Killua because he is still chasing after Chrollo.
Very good, I agree completely. Gon's values when it comes to fighting very much match Hisoka's and Hisoka knows that early on. He would still love to force a fight onto Killua, especially when he's at his full potential but he's just a little more excited about fighting Gon
@@kenanOWyeah i get what you mean. But there is Something unhinged in gon that He shares With hisoka. Gon is sick of different Kind than killua. And that Type of sick is more similar to hisoka. Gon is hungry. He wants to Grow, and learn, and experience. He enjoys Stuff and actually Risks His own Life and that of the people He Likes For that. Killua is more of a logical, Safe Person. While gon is a true Hunter that lifes to hunt.
I don’t necessarily think hisoka is more interested in gon over killua I just think hisoka just didn’t want any smoke with illumi at the moment; however he was contemplating if he wanted to kill nanika to earn killua’s wrath or kill killua to make an enemy out of illumi.
Theres also the Illumi factor with Killua. Hisoka wants to fight strong people and wants to fight Gon at his full potential but at the same time he doesn't seem to actively want to fight Illumi. They have something of an alliance and what can very loosely be described as loyalty between them. Gon is also an unpolished diamond whereas Killua has already started to be polished by the point Hisoka meets them
@@hunteh78 yeah there's no loyalty going on lmao hisoka called illumi just another toy like Gon killua and some others I'm only two years late to reply btw.
Gon is unhinged and takes risk to win, while killua knows his limits and runs when facing a greater enemy. Killua runs from phinks, youpi. Gon faces hisoka when he cannot escape, pitou and does a risk of sacrifice
Not gon darkness just the crazy curious carefree he has cause had it been darkness he would had like Killua more sense at the start of the show Killua is the most blood thirsty

Gon is ready to sacrifice innocent people for His Revenge, and the Moment you lie to him, you have him all the reason He needs to kill you. Gon is definetly Not "good". He is even way less "good" than His could hearted assasin friend.
Killua won’t fight unless provoked or it’s the only option, Gon would fight just to test his limits and has shown the determination to just keep fighting even when he’s beat to near death, Hisoka probably sees the difference between them but it’s small enough that the hunger to win from Gon and the willingness to just fight for what he thinks is right is enough to equal the gap between them and even surpass it as it would be more fun.
another MAJOR reason is Illumi, even if he was interested in Killua going after him would also sever his relationship with Illumi and make him Illumi’s sole target, simply not worth it
I don't think so considering the fact that Hisoka lives for fun. During the 13th chairman arc, Hisoka was considering killing Killua to make Illumi rage, but he chose not to. He just loves to fight, that's his "fetish" so to say.
In the show it’s been high lighted how Gon and Killua are both 1 and a million(wing mentions that) and I’m pretty sure plenty of more people notice the same potential. Hisoka does consider kill as a “toy” too as shown in image containing characters hisoka what’s to play with but prefers Gon most cause he’s mentioned he’d love to also break his spirit.(like Batman and joker kind of vibe)
Also i like to point out that hisoka is a world class nen user he rated some of netero beast senate memeber like at 86 and people tend to forget killua is talented as hell so it tends to overshadow the fact that gon has absurd nen potential. And you stsrt to see this in the chimera ant arch hisoka probably wants to fight adult gon tbh. Hisoka can tell gons nen and aura level is off the charts. Even as a kid in the chimera ant arch he easily wiped the floor with pitou with unlocked potential. And before that he was scaring other top tier hunters and dealing with stuff those same people admited they cant handle. Hisoka can tell gon was one day supposed to naturally be what he was when fighting pitou and hisoka wants to fight that beast.
I think also because they have similar pasts. Gon basically grew up without parents and as a child was dating grown women 🥴 catching giant fish and whatnot. Whereas Killua was raised and trained to be who he is today. Gon is just feral enough for Hisoka to maybe feel a strong connection to him for that. When we look at the one shot of young Hisoka, he was also incredibly gifted at a young age and a wandering free spirit. Of similar stock
I Think it’s the fact that killua is so powerful already, and he probably doesn’t have that much more to gain. As well as killua doesn’t have that strong a will to begin with, as hisoka enjoys breaking the will of people. While gon is the complete opposite; he starts out strong, but very weak in comparison to almost everyone else. He grows a lot very fast, and have so much more potential compared to who we’ve met so far. He has a grounded and rooted will and spirit, to do what he deems right and just. Gon will be an excellent person to fight with later down the line, and his will, will be so much sweeter to break. And he’s a kid.
Remember Gon was also the one that was able to actually touch him even though it was with this fishing pole he was still able to make a mark on him while the other two they couldn't even touch him he was too fast in killua wasn't even there with him away way but you had gotten separated from the two different groups and he ended up fighting his hisoka while killua was following the rest of the survivors
I feel the things that sets killua and gon apart from hisokas view is first the zoldyk family. Same thing for hisoka and the spiders, picking a fight with them is a good way to be killed and he isn't about that....yet. second, gon is easily a more unpolished gem. Killua has been trained since a very young age, meaning that he is already one of the most skilled and strongest Mc of the series. Gon did most of it by himself and was way behind killua at the beginning in some aspects. So gon can be polished further and has more potential physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
I think it might be because Hisoka knows of the mental handicap that killua had because of his brother, illumi. This might have cause a large break in Killuas improvement. On the other hand, Gon had no such manipulation and instead had study improvement. As we all know, Illumi and Hisoka already know each other, so it would make sense if Hisoka knew of Killua's controlled mind.
Someone has been reading the manga/comic after his fight with chrollo he's literally wiping out the phantom troupe because he doesn't give a flying f even on the journey to the dark continent it's stated that after he's done gon and the zoldycks are probably his next targets
Some of the main reasons could be Killua is from the Zoldyck family, so Hisoka's gonna meet his end if he messes with them. Kil is a prodigy so there isn't much potential ig...? And lastly since Kil is manipulated by Illumi, till the Chimera Arc, he didn't really have the same 'guts' as Gon. (like uk how its drilled into him he should just run away if he's facing a much more powerful opponent) Also could be becoz Gon is very innocent? idk.
"Kil is a prodigy so there isny much potential ig?" Prodigies are known to have immense potential wdym 😭, because they master things at such a young age that took people many years to master. Gon and Killua are both prodigies.
Yeah. Gon isnt normal Prey. Gon is the Type of Prey, that Smileys in the face of His Hunter and Adapts to become the Hunter himself. Normal Prey more Like killua would Run.
Ahem and Hisoka asking Illumi if he could do Killua, with the very suggestive japanese hand gesture for "sekkusu". Well at least Illumi is protecting Killua... bad news is, Killua's having Hisoka as a brother-in-law...
Basically, he already tried his way with Killua, but Illumi just cut the shit, and said he would die if ge messed with him. While Gon... is just there, free to go (just needs to mature a lil bit lol)
The answer is Illumi. On multiple occasions Illumi has warned Hisoka about hunting Killua, and in other cases Hisoka has joked about targeting Killua in order to provoke Illumi.
Hisoka likes gon because even though killua outshines him - fighting gon is more interesting. This can be seen in the arena where gon doesnt care how much weaker he is, he fights regardless and strives really hard to compensate through battle iq with no fear. Hisoka just really really enjoys fighting
Its Not Canon. He is a predatory, sadistic psycho, Who also doesnt spare Kids. Thats Not really what a P. Does. Its what many people dont understand, little Not so fun funfact, Most sexual child abusers are Not P's. But still abuse Kids sexually, because It is a sick Powerplay, of a different Kind. Hisoka definetly falls more into that category.
@@forgcommunity1787i would say both in a way. He loves to hunt and Prey, wich indicates His sadistic tendencys, but He also wants Them to be Strong and Challenge him.
okay but this fact may shock you. did you know that bungee gum was not only named after hisokas favorite chewing gum brand from when he was a kid 😯 BUT ALSO. bungee gum has the properties of both rubber and gum..
I think, the fact that Gon is an Enhancer (simple-minded) makes him and Hisoka compatible. Killua is a capable fighter, but not compatible with Hisoka’s personality bc both of them are fickle. Chrollo is also a contrast to Hisoka’s personality, so I guess that shares a similar sentiment with Gon.
Hisoka wants someone strong that wants to fight with him back, and is determined to win He doesn't want Killua, because Killua doesn't get into fights he will lose He wants a mutual fight, so he isn't just going to randomly walk up to a strong guy and attack them This is why his targets so far have been gon, kastro, and chrollo. And if he asks for a fight Killua will most likely just refuse.
Okay, he has more admirable qualities but... you didn't say what those are? Let me fill in the blanks. When they met, Killua was brainwashed to run from any fight he didn't know for a fact he could win. He isn't a fighter, he's a killer. Gon was excited at the prospect of a battle with his life on the line, even knowing he would lose. Hisoka saw himself in Gon.
Gon is more savage and unhinged he makes decisions based on his own instincts and doesn’t care about the consequences Killua is cautious and intelligent he knows his limits and knows when to fight and when to take the L and get out with his life. It be more interesting for Hisoka because once Killua realizes he can’t beat Hisoka Killua is going to dip.
Honestly i think hisoka wouldnt want to fight killua because if killua truly feels like he has to run away he will while gon knows he wont win he will stay to fight hisoka which makes him more interesting. And have seen these moments hqppen.
It’s because gon is to innocent and he’s determined also killua and hisoka are transmuters while gon is enhancer and they attract and hisoka still wants killua
He's whimsical. There is no why. A random wild kid has much more appeal than a prodigious child from an established family. For a Transmuter to be interested in another Transmuter is already low probability. This is an easy question; click bait.
He probably knows it suspects about the needle in Killua's head that makes him run when he can't win. Gon doesn't know when to quit, especially when he gets emotional.
Killua always runs when shit gets bad so his potential is limited. Gon knew how crazy Hisoka was but still hunted him 🤣 (and got stronger in order to do so).
@@gachadan8016 Yeah but Hisoka really didn't interact with Killua after it was removed. And during the hunt to kill nanika Killua still only ran, and let his friend/Butler die.
It was the needle and the reason he ran with alluka is because he knew what alluka could do and he did not want to fight his family they both are going to probably be the same strength when there older
Gon had been stated to have more potential than Killua however they both have immense potential. But the biggest factor is Gon’s personality isn’t cautious compared to Killua’s who runs away if there is any relatively close chance to dying, this probably is because of his family being Assassins which they train to kill and only kill while being efficient and not fighting for the sake of enjoyment.
@@tonymcdaniels3707You just saying shit. How does that mean that Killua has more potential because Gon lost his Nen? Do you even know why Gon lost his Nen?
@@RIP_ZYZZ1738Gon was said to have more potential as a hunter because during the Hunter Exam, Killua had no interest in becoming a hunter nor knew what he wanted to do. Thats why it looked like they stated Gon had more potential, but it was just as a Hunter.
i think its because killua has less potential when we think about it cause he doesn't wanna be stronger with assassian abilities and i dont see him getting another massive buff like godspeed but gon still has much more potential and rn is probably only like 10% of his max potential
Tbh just look at what god speed does and he doesn't really need another massive buff, he just needs to improve on what he has since it's one of the stronger abilities we've seen so far. Electricity numbs the nerves of any opponent to the point that it was affecting a far stronger chimera ant (while he wasn't outright damaging Youpi the shocks still affected him) so it's safe to assume he can easily incapacitate most humans with it, and he pretty much has ultra instinct and an En ability on par with Nobunaga's En field (where he would instantly slash whoever entered). Honestly, a fully developed Godspeed could easily be pushed to be on par with Adult Gon's peak enhancement abilities since the only limit it has is how much Killua can charge himself. Hisoka just doesn't want to go after Killua since he and Illumi already have interest in their own targets because he outright knows Killua has potential too but doesn't want to ruin what he has going with Illumi and Gon, not to mention he see's Gon as someone he can use himself as a goal to force him to get even stronger. Killua wouldn't fall for something like that and remain cautious to avoid unnecessary battles, Gon would force his way through unwinnable odds just like when he faced Razors final dodge ball when he didn't have to.
People can make multiple explanation but in reality just dont forget that hisoka himself says that transmuter are opposite with enhancer because of the personality, so they are compatible and that they could become intimate (arrest this freak immediatly lmao)
There potential is the same they will both be the same strength when older it’s just hisoka and killua are transmuters and gon is a enhancer and opposites attract

He just like em young
I know thats a Joke, but actually hisoka Likes Them at the Perk of their Potential. And than hunt Them down

I think the reason is because killua is basically mini-Illumi.Meanwhile Gon seemed like a wild card to him.

Gon is unhinged and takes risk to win, while killua knows his limits and runs when facing a greater enemy. Killua runs from phinks, youpi. Gon faces hisoka when he cannot escape, pitou and does a risk of sacrifice
I personally think it’s because he recognizes gon’s darkness and sees that he’s somewhat of a psychopath(we all watched that video)
Not gon darkness just the crazy curious carefree he has cause had it been darkness he would had like Killua more sense at the start of the show Killua is the most blood thirsty
Gon aint a psychopath.. he's just like a kid on a tantrum sometimes

Gon is ready to sacrifice innocent people for His Revenge, and the Moment you lie to him, you have him all the reason He needs to kill you.
Gon is definetly Not "good". He is even way less "good" than His could hearted assasin friend.
That video is very pretentious and assumes a lot of things about Gon, ignoring all the facets that make him a good person and distorting others.
Don't let this distract you from the fact bungee gum has the properties of both rubber and gum
I fucking knew it
another MAJOR reason is Illumi, even if he was interested in Killua going after him would also sever his relationship with Illumi and make him Illumi’s sole target, simply not worth it
I don't think so considering the fact that Hisoka lives for fun.

Wow umm hisoka .... :( I'm so grateful :((
Killuas overrated, I personally believe gon is much better🤓
It hurts to see a killua pfp
Killua and kurapika fangirls: **Fat girls with dyed hair**
Gon and Leorio fangirls: **Chad woman**
Gon is a boy in a man's world and hisoka is a man who loves to play with little boys!
Hisoka loves to hunt challenging Prey.
Gon is prey that seeks to hunt His Hunter, instead of running Like "normal Prey" Like killua.
Basically the whole video of his explanation in a sentence: Killua is better than Gon and Hisoka is a pervert
More like pedo
Gon doesn't have a big brother that threatened to murk him on site.😂
*gOoOOnN GoOOOoN*
OH GONNNN😩
😂😂😂😂😂
I think also because they have similar pasts. Gon basically grew up without parents and as a child was dating grown women 🥴 catching giant fish and whatnot. Whereas Killua was raised and trained to be who he is today. Gon is just feral enough for Hisoka to maybe feel a strong connection to him for that. When we look at the one shot of young Hisoka, he was also incredibly gifted at a young age and a wandering free spirit. Of similar stock
hisoka like gon more because he likes living
I think hisoka found my address…I gotta run…😅
Maybe because Ilumni is protective of Killua, It shows when Hisola asked him if he could do him(Killua). he probably told Hisoka to back off
I Think it’s the fact that killua is so powerful already, and he probably doesn’t have that much more to gain.
Because he probabbly knew how strong gon wouldve gotten with enough time
Killua would have gotten that strong as well
I thought hisoka just didn't want to mess with his best friends kid brother
Someone has been reading the manga/comic after his fight with chrollo he's literally wiping out the phantom troupe because he doesn't give a flying f even on the journey to the dark continent it's stated that after he's done gon and the zoldycks are probably his next targets
Killua is too careful, Gon’s crazy and passionate at the same time.
"GoOoOoOoÖoØōÔóÕœN~~~ 🤡🥴😩"
Killua has skills, experience and power.
Gon has the POTENTIAL.
The main reason is Hisoka knows that Gon is the same type of person as him
Wrong lol
No, they are actually opposites, Which is the only reason they attract.
Some of the main reasons could be
Killua is from the Zoldyck family, so Hisoka's gonna meet his end if he messes with them.
Kil is a prodigy so there isn't much potential ig...?
And lastly since Kil is manipulated by Illumi, till the Chimera Arc, he didn't really have the same 'guts' as Gon. (like uk how its drilled into him he should just run away if he's facing a much more powerful opponent)
Also could be becoz Gon is very innocent? idk.
"Kil is a prodigy so there isny much potential ig?" Prodigies are known to have immense potential wdym 😭, because they master things at such a young age that took people many years to master. Gon and Killua are both prodigies.

Bro really just said "certified lover boy certified PDF file"
Easy answer
Illumi
Part of the answer
Hisoka would even be happy if he can fight everyone. Tf u talkin
Hisoka wants someone strong that wants to fight with him back, and is determined to win
He doesn't want Killua, because Killua doesn't get into fights he will lose
He wants a mutual fight, so he isn't just going to randomly walk up to a strong guy and attack them
This is why his targets so far have been gon, kastro, and chrollo.

Killua is more skilled and smart gon recovers faster and is more determined

He probably knows it suspects about the needle in Killua's head that makes him run when he can't win. Gon doesn't know when to quit, especially when he gets emotional.
Killua always runs when shit gets bad so his potential is limited.

@@gachadan8016 Yeah but Hisoka really didn't interact with Killua after it was removed. And during the hunt to kill nanika Killua still only ran, and let his friend/Butler die.

Killua was trained early in his childhood.
Gon was just being gon.
Killua has more potential
@@pinkdoe1725 where does it state that? Because I remember that Gon had been stated to have more potential at the end of the Hunter Exam

Thats why it looked like they stated Gon had more potential, but it was just as a Hunter.
Clamping little kids cheeks like hisoka invented turbulence
i think its because killua has less potential when we think about it cause he doesn't wanna be stronger with assassian abilities and i dont see him getting another massive buff like godspeed but gon still has much more potential and rn is probably only like 10% of his max potential
Nah both have equal potential it was said in the manga killua is more skilled and is more smart and gon is more determined and recovers faster
People can make multiple explanation but in reality just dont forget that hisoka himself says that transmuter are opposite with enhancer because of the personality, so they are compatible and that they could become intimate (arrest this freak immediatly lmao)
Gon definitely has the better potential
There potential is the same they will both be the same strength when older it’s just hisoka and killua are transmuters and gon is a enhancer and opposites attract
