Hi Jodi, over the 3 day weekend I worked 2 days in my yard. The hardest part was my only tree. I did get a mini chainsaw and it helped a great deal, thank you. Picking up the apples I got stung on my middle finger one day by a yellow jacket. The third day I spent cleaning the inside of my house. Moved furniture around and put out my Fall decor. Then Tuesday back to babysitting my granddaughter and had her in her little pool and got stung in the neck. Fortunately it was me instead of her, after she went home I sprayed behind my fence ornaments and am now setting up her pool on the rock away from the tree and grass.
You’re doing great on the yard. Nice work getting that pantry in order. I am so excited about you giving us a bonus video!😃Thank you Jodi.

It is still super hot here in GA. 90s during the day (over 100 with humidity) 75 or so degrees at night. I think we are getting some 80s next week. yay. We did have a wonderful day last week in the lower 80s. But that was due to the hurricane that we got the bands of. I also know what you mean about those shelf clips. I have them as well. I had to adjust them in my laundry room. I was tired of having the softener and detergents sitting on my dryer when I had perfectly nice cabinets. I believe I actually yelled at my shelves. I kept texting my friend for moral support. Then praised the good Lord when I was finally able to unclip the 2 shelves. I did find a youtube video that finally helped me. (I did break my clip but it works for the most part still). Your cabinets do look great. It makes me think I may want to declutter my pantry. maybe just think for now. I have a few other declutter jobs I want to do. I want to clean the tracks of my window, but that will have to wait until it is cooler. I can't have windows open to air condition the outdoors. haha. I always enjoy your videos. They make me smile while I am watching. A bonus video is always great. Keep up the great work in your yard. Have a great week. I love Clark!

Wow you are a work horse with your yard! It's looking awesome gir!!! Yes, I have dug some roots of trees & trumpets, they're a vine with orange type trumpets on them & the bees & hummingbirds really like them. They were all over our home when we bought it & mint too! I finally got rid of the mint, but the trumpets are in our brick container in front of our house. There are 3 main ones. Which we like to hide behind on the porch. It's just with them & 2 pampas grasses. We used to keep them from growing all over in our roses, & the grass etc. But now we're getting older & can't do a whole lot anymore, except my husband waters & mows the lawn. You did a great job on your pantry. You do a very good job on your downstairs couponing shelves, so it shouldn't be to much difference in the pantry! So keep it going. I don't have a big pantry. It's just the 2 of us, so we don't really need one! Thanks for sharing all that you did, superwoman! You take care! I can't wait for the extra video! ♥️☺️🫂🍄🌞🦩🌹🪻🐦🦋

  • @annwilliams9214

Pantry shelving...take a small screwdriver and push in the top of the clip while lifting up the shelf with your other hand. You're going to have to start with the bottom shelf and shimmy it down to the base, following with each shelf above. Once all the shelves are flat on the bottom, you should be able to start raising the shelves to their new position. You'll end up with a bottom that is 2 or 3 shelves thick, but easier than taking off the countertop. I guess the former homeowner stored baking pans or the like.

Till you can get the tree stumps removed you might spray them with a bright color spray paint to avoid tripping over them......or get little flags and place them around the stumps. Looking at the pantry with the shelves if you look that middle vertical board can be removed....you might have to replace if a problem getting it pulled off but probably just nailed in and then go from there. Then I would take out those problem pegs and get another type. From SE Kansas 🌻.

I bought myself a large root slayer after seeing you use yours. I have to use it along the fence line and my brick edging where they couldn’t get the grinder close. I hadn’t planned on planting anything this fall, but found some shrubs on sale. So I will be planting 6 shrubs 19:46 weekend. So glad the weather is cooling off in Minnesota. I have loved watching you enjoy your flowers. I love flowers too so much! I wanted to encourage you to plan some bulbs this fall so that in the spring you could have daffodils and tulips! You don't ever have to dig them up again like you do with dahlias and there's so much easier to deal with. Plant them in clumps not Rose and it will look much prettier. Put all the yellow daffodils in a clump and then all one color tulips in a clump and make clumps of color. The other thing you can do is to plant some other perennials this fall in your front flower garden. That way in the spring they will be more established and they will come up. Have fun!

Hi Jodi ! Love your videos. Please know that poison ivy usually grows up a tree. It always needs sunlight to grow. We have tons of poison ivy in our yard. I am highly allergic as well. The oils can stay on clothes and shoes up to a year. Good luck !

Hey, Jodi. When you started talking about the new flowers on your hosts I had to laugh.. I don't have a flower garden here at home though I could transp!ant many of them from where our camp is. The previous owners planted many different flowers in the front of the camper and when I go there I am tending to them.I have learned a lot from looking each plant up and seeing how to care for them. Many of my plants that have flowered could be cut back so I did that.the peonies and the Iris's were cut back. The end of this month will be the hostas and my Solomon plants. Then in Oct. My rose bush, and my Rose of Sharons. Though I did t do anything last year and they all came back, lol oh yeah and the day lillies will need a cut too. But its been interesting learning about them and their care. Great job with your yard.🌹💜💛💚

I have two golden doodles and let me tell you they get so matted! I have the groomer give them puppy cuts so their hair stays fairly short and I constantly am brushing, combing, clipping out mats, etc even though they go every 8 weeks to get groomed. They are a lot of work, but so worth it!!

Hi Jodi! Our weather is currently about 44°C or 111°F! But thankfully winter is coming! I’ve been living in UAE for the last 2 years plus, and our (tiny) garden is artificial grass and a tiny (sand) garden that we struggle to keep anything alive in! 😂
I love watching your Chanel and even the gardening as I can’t really do that during summer!

I have 2 Yorkiepoo girls which is a Yorkie and poodle mix and was not aware of the puppy fur. My poor girls were so matted and I ended up shaving them down to the skin to get rid of the mats. Now they have their adult (they are 2 years old now) fur and I just trim/groom them myself every month or so and bathe weekly and never have to brush or comb them out!

I've recently been doing Kroger pickup also! It's been so much cheaper than going in the store because they give you more frequent extra $ off coupons! $15 off $75 for 1st pickup, $10 off $70, and I just had a $5 off $50! If I had went in and bought the same items, I would not have gotten those savings! Yay! 😁

I was a dog groomer for over 25+ years. The reason dogs like Clark, (poodles, shih tzus, lhasas, etc) mat so quickly is because they do shed. There is no such things as a shedless dog or cat. They shed their hair into their hair, so it in turn becomes matted. I hate when people are told that their pet wont shed. Like Gus, you said he would shed like crazy. I had a doberman for 13 years and we were always finding her "needle hair" thats what I called it everywhere. Of course, she was allowed on all the furniture. My Baby!! Anywho, Clark does have a puppy coat, but shaving him down wont change his hair. It might become a little denser as he ages but he is just gonna have that downy hair. I could tell as soon as I saw him that he had be groomed. Hope this helps. He would look so funny shaved down.

Patti yes! I always called Gus’s hair wire hair 😂 it stuck to everything and was so hard to get off clothes or vacuum up 🤦‍♀️
Ahhhh that makes so much sense why they don’t shed all over the house. I get him groomed once a month and now doing daily brushing. Thank you for the professional insight. Truly appreciate it ❤️
