Thanks for the convo. Not taking care of yourself with not working out and not eating right will indeed make you miserable. It breeds self loathing and frustration, absolute confidence killers. You’ll feel like you’re trying to take on life with one arm tied behind your back while knowing it’s your own damn fault for not having the other arm there. Crippling. I like how you framed it as paying respect to your stuff and yourself.

Great interview… it’s been a while since I’ve heard your show, I suppose.. this divorce situation with you is new to me…
I went through it about 15 years ago. Probably the worst experience ever… but then again I went though it with others supporting me… best thing ever!
And it’s because I went through troubles alone as a child.. and it was difficult and new and lonely., that being divorced upon was the most difficult but not the most difficult experience simultaneously..

Could you suggest some new books to read for ambitious men who want to make it big in career ?

dads need to spend time with their kids, especially their sons, and teach them things.
for example, when i was 7, my dad took the time to teach me how to not be afraid of cockroaches.
he bought some cockroaches, clipped their wings, and we started off small. first, he would hold a cockroach, and let me feel it trying to crawl around in the palm of my hand.
next, he would hold the cockroach at the same time i also held the cockroach. eventually, i was able to hold a cockroach on my own.
this then progressed to allowing a cockroach to crawl over my hands and legs, and snatching the cockroach with my bare hands. he then put it on my back, and let it crawl up to my shoulder before allowing me to snatch it.
the final test involved him putting a cockroach on his face! seeing a cockroach crawl all over my dad's face while he remained calm, talking to me and joking about it, made me admire him so much; he was like my own superhero.
he eventually put the cockroach on my cheek, and i ended up doing the same! this is why i am not the least bit afraid of cockroaches today, while other men are running around like p*ssies when they see a roach flying or crawling around.
and, let me also say this: my mother was HORRIFIED throughout all of this, but she never stopped my dad from doing this, because she respected him as a man.
this is just one small example of why it is so important for not just men, but *real* men to spend time with their kids.
so many men are spending time away from their kids because they are working too many hours, or building a business, or they selfishly want more time for themselves and just *shove their kids in front of a screen,* so they don't have to deal with them. then, they act so surprised that their kids act f..ked up as adults, and their sons are basically sentient vaginas!
um...yeah, they act like that because *you didn't take the time to teach them anything.*

Lol. You say if a businessman doesn’t get back to his client the client shouldn’t do business with them.
However don’t expect your partner to reciprocate and just keep giving without expecting return.

    Being authentic…
Bad excuse for being a jerk
    Cmon, try this in life..
I don’t brush my teeth, wash my hair, take a shower…
I’m being my authentic self, after all. …

      no, dummy!
authentic would involve you taking care of your hygiene so everything that is natural on you is presented in its best form.
think critically before posting asinine comments!
