Nice tip sis about turning them upside down would not have thought about that. Another gal I watch uses old credit cards when she is refurbishing ink pads to spread the ink evenly into the pad.
Hi Carrie , yes, distilled water works. I’ve not bought reinkers. Yes, storing upside down is perfect. Great info for those wanting to know. Thanks for sharing dear lady, big hugs ❤
Thank you for your input Brenda! I know alot of folks come in and read the comments and this type of feedback helps all of us tremendously. I hope you have a wonderful week friend❤️
Another great tip video. I will try the distilled water trick. I had gotten a re-inker fairly recently and just wasn't thrilled. You're right - I don't think the pads/ink are ever quite the same
Well I certainly trust your judgement because as an experienced card maker and scrapbooker then you know alot about ink pads! I knew it couldn't have just been me. Thanks for the input Carol!
Thank you for doing this carrie and thank you for metioning the water, I see someone knew the answer! That is good to know since I haven't need to buy any re inker yet!
You are so welcome Candece! Thank YOU for watching friend. I hope you are well. I haven't watched your 2025 haul video yet but I am looking forward to seeing what you got! Have a great week❤️
Back again, do you have any tips for the other type ink: pigments? I'm a huge fan of white on kraft, every time I am brave enough to use a pigment ink, it's a disaster. They take soooo long to dry and heat treating doesn't speed it up much. Thanks 😉👍

Thank you Suzy! I hope you have a great week❤️
I always use a spritz of water... Or Alchole for the Alchole based inks
Thank you so much for this!
Water can be used with Oxides which are more opaque than regular distressed ink
Olita thank you so much for your input!! I hope you have a great week❤️

I haven’t used them at all! I shy away from mixed media. Let me see if my friend Carol or Angela can help.
Ok my friend @crinkledpath just told me that if you use embossing powder and a heat gun it will work. Have you tried that?
@ThePaperMonkey Nope but I'll try it fir the cam, let's see what happens👏😊 Thank you & crinkeledpath👍
