Because most of jack stauber's music is banned in my country, and spotify's layout puts me off, finding a new jack stauber lyric video is like finding a diamond in your house one day
This is his first song that made me cry. I think he makes the meaning intentionally cryptic so you can get your own meaning out of it. I was driving home the other day and I realized what this song meant to me and I started crying.
"Every inch that we grew, everything that we do, planted seeds, throughout the weeds, and when it reached the sky, it was a mile high, and I'll always know, theres ground below." I see this as a short but strong love story of a lover reflecting back on his/her relationship. Every inch that their love grew, they planted seeds of memories, throughout the course of time they were together, where their love reached a mile high and the person thought that their love wont ever break, thinking that they would stay up a mile high, he/she forgot there was ground below where if they fall, their love break. The line 'it "was" a mile high' signifies that they already broke up and all of it that happened in the past. Your handwriting is better than mine :) so dont you worry, its good. Love the vid keep it up @Jax3636
I've been listening to Jack Stauber's music for around 2 years now. I've listened to Hi-Lo and Pop Food so many times I can't even keep track. It was only within the past couple months that I've come to listen to and appreciate his older works in Finite Form and Viator. The first time I listened to this track it hit me emotionally (and still does) in a way that no other had before. As someone who had committed himself to a 6-year long relationship and was prepared to spend the rest of his life with their partner, only to have that relationship end without warning, this song and its message make me tear up nearly to the point of full-on ugly-face crying. The hopeful feeling throughout the track that seeps through despite those hurtful feelings is the icing on this wonderful cake. Just because you lose something, that isn't a reason to give up, you may fall down, but you can keep going. I wish I could thank Jack Stauber face-to-face, and tell him how much I love his art, but this is the best I can do I suppose.
I feel like this song is like your best friend on his death bed, and you have to watch him pass away slowly. And you remember all the good times you had with him.
Yo. This is underrated. Thanks to you i can finally understand what he's saying 😂, and the whole aesthetic of the video gives it a Jack Stauber vibe. I hope this gets more recognition as well as the song, if that's the right word... Anyways, you did great keeping his type vibe, and I really enjoyed the video. Thanks ;) (Sorry for the paragraph. :P)
I also saw another comment about how just take my wallet could be about a suicide. I think this is from the friend’s perspective, when they were still alive.
my handwriting sucks, sorry
Just follow Jack's mantra, do it every day and you'll get better! 😂
It makes the video better tbh
It adds more feel to the video and it's good :)

RunAway too the whole album is pretty good.
I need to get a life
I like the style the handwritten design really suits Jack's music :D
I feel like you actually writing down the lyrics and you placing them down actually gives off more of a Jack Stauber vibe in my opinion.
That was part of why I decided to do it that way
God this is such an under appreciated track
The whole album is underappreciated
