If you'd aim a zoom lens up on the lift vector and simulate a 1-circle for just the movie, you would be able to see the opponent, they are not that far that you would not see them on big screen with zoom lens. Simply beautiful cinematography and sound design. Make SEAD actually look dangerous compared to the turkey shoot it often appears to be in DCS. A visual and auditory treat as always.
in DCS its usually a turkey shoot because the SAMs havent been properly set up, and they dont adapt to enemy fighters, they only turn on and shoot at them. IRL they shoot, move, turn on and off radars, listen into flight's comms, and much more to be as annoying as possible to SEAD pilots. Read the book it was inspired by (Viper Pilot) if you'd like a better look into it, its a fantastic read. You can spice up your SEAD missions by adding some interesting components like SAM nets instead of sites, and short range radar, optical, and IR guided SAMs/AAA supporting the longer range ones. Throw in an SA10 or 15 if you want an extra challenge, as they will consistently intercept your weapons, and you must figure out a way around that. A properly set up SAM net or IADS (integrated air defense system) can be quite a challenge instead of a turkey shoot in DCS. Happy hunting.
This video did what hollywood hasn't been able to do since I was a child. I was immersed in the content, glued to the screen enjoying the action. Thinking to myself "I play this simulator, I can't even deploy some of the weapons without a tutorial and hitting pause, but these guys are doing it while dodging flak, anti air guns and sams!" This was amazing, Eagle Dynamics should hire you guys to do their PR videos.
It is extremely rare that a cinematic would be able to capture the pure stress/adrenaline rush of a tag-team Wild Weasel mission. Proper job well done!
As a film maker. Top notch! Framing was spot on, often not quite nailed in video game shorts like this. Awesome work controlling the pacing while keeping the cool. Loved it.
Ok SEAD and DEAD missions are, by far, my favorite aspect of modern military aviation and the fact you represented a real world style tag team approach is phenomenal. The bomb plane that’s the ‘bait’, force the radars on and searching. The HARM plane to destroy the high power long range radars while the ‘Bait’ does whatever he can to stay airborne and then the cleanup aircraft that will eliminate remaining medium or short range emplacements. Also i love the detail of having an F-15C CAP group on the map and, what looks like, an Electronic Warfare aircraft in trail (it was blurred but I’m sure I saw an E/A) making it feel like we were watching an actual operation
I was absolutely not ready for the raw, visceral intensity of this movie. It brought a tear to my eye. At this point I think the only person that can outdo your videos is you, your work is in a league of it own. Fantastic job from the voice actors too.

Young man. I’m just a retired US Army Infantryman, 26 years of service and in two wars. At about 6 years into my career as an 11H, I applied to be a helicopter pilot (WOFT) but circumstance changed the path. In the Army we like to have helo pilots with tactical experience since they’ll be supporting forward elements and they know how to better survive on the battlefield, we know how various enemy weapon systems function and how to exploit weaknesses. When the pilot has to speak with Infantrymen in a hot environment, he knows exactly what they mean so there’s no confusion. As an Apache pilot, he knows the enemy will look to take him out before other helos since he can do the most damage to them. To evade enemy radar or to mask noise, the helo pilot will fly Nap Of the Earth or below it like when he follows a river and is flying only a few feet off the ground at max speed (around 175 mph). Often we’ll use a decoy helicopter flight (group of aircraft) that’s flying in the same area but a little higher to help mask the sounds of helos flying NOE. Those decoy flights will also do a few “false insertions” to make the enemy think we dismounted troops at a specific locations while our original Drop Zone is elsewhere. We’ll have other assets deployed to the false DZ to further sell the deception to the enemy to get him to deploy valuable forces to that area. This creates a couple advantages, one is that we successfully gathered our enemy forces in one location which allows us to bomb them to the Stone Age with B-52’s not far away waiting for the call to stop orbiting and make their run. As Light Infantry, we survive by being creative and don’t assume anything. We rely heavily on camouflage and disciplined movement. We don’t choose the path to walk on, we make our own trail as much as possible depending on how much time we have. So all those little details are going through the minds of our helicopter pilots minds as they fly. If an Apache gets ‘painted’ by enemy anti-aircraft systems both ground or air based, it triggers the pilot into best options for a response. He can evade by diving low to sub-NOE, he can try to evade with chaff/flares, call for support from other helos where the weapon is and request immediate suppression from artillery/mortar support, other AH-64’s, assistance from Air Force aircraft with any jamming capabilities or if they can hit the location with HARM missiles or, if a jet can take on the fighter that is pursuing the helo. In my job, I use the TOW missile system with a max range of 4,000 meters. I can take out slower moving aircraft and helicopters so the Apache pilot could fly closer to my sector, call me on the radio and request help from a pursuing group of enemy helicopters and I’d give him a heading and distance until I can assist. We have ground based air defense systems but if a battle is swamped with targets it’s not so easy, especially in a mountainous terrain. I’ll stop there for now, you get the idea of how a raid/attack would look like and how the enemy will usually respond. I served 6 years in D Co. 2/502 INF, 101st ABN. The average IQ of an Infantryman is 120 today so never assume an Infantryman is dumb, he’s likely the smartest one in the room. I mentioned all this in event you ever dream up a scenario for using both air and land based elements. I’ve seen A-10’s do amazing things that you wouldn’t believe, one saved my life.
It doesn't matter how many times I watch this, I always get goosebumps. I'm confident in saying that you are the greatest DCS cinematic channel on the planet.
watching this i was like "wow i cant believe this is in dcs" and then the cuts to the low quality ground units remind me "oh wait yeah this isn't a really high quality blender render". incredible work.
I got goosebumps from the intro and even more from the stress of the pilot during the flight, you really blew me away mate, well done, this is a masterpiece
I am absolutely amazed at how you create projects this well. If you've ever created a cinematic you understand how hard these types of video are. Incredible amount of effort and amazing quality.
Brutallllll!!!! esto es otro nivel... no creo que nos hagamos bien una idea de las horas que hay detrás de esto. Enhorabuena Adrián y resto del equipo que ha participado en el proyecto.
Real life civilian pilot for over 10 years so I can't speak to combat but as for emergencies and stressful situations...I've had a few. Had a flight in an aircraft in solid IFR with an avionics and engine issue (violent and uncommanded pitch inputs from the autopilot, engine surging) in a new airplane. Turned out both were new issues with that model that were later remedied. Resulted in an approach to minimums that was hand flown while watching the engine instruments like a hawk. Nearly had to go around. I've had other flights involving busy airspace at uncontrolled fields where I was scanning like I was in a dogfight. Anyways what blew me away when I started playing DCS a couple of years ago is on intense missions it got my heart pumping and my palms sweating like those situations. I walked away with a level of mental exhaustion that reminded me of those tense flights as well. This video summarizes the feeling well. Beautifully put together. Keep it up.
Ive always been into DCS cinematics but this one was something totally different, it was more so an experience. I could feel my test get tight with anxiety every time the lock on dial tone came on and the pilot started pulling massive G's in tight turns. Fantastic
Wow that was just stunning, even the whole movie industry never made something so amazing I watched the whole video and never realised you were the same genius that made the DCS World Fan Movie IV and V
Bruuh. Congrats. This is quality gameplay video, rare stuff to find out there I mean in any game. No need for too much details but this is right on the limit, achievable by players and inspiring for this reason. Good job. Hope to find more players to play games like this, people that like to be immersed in the context, learning about the context and then ready to interpret a good session. That team play at 4:30 ... got me... end credits fix (Awesome)
Jesus, that was intense! Another freaking masterpiece! As soon as the notification came up it was an instant watch. Looking forward to more of your incredible content.

You can watch this 400 times over and it'll be just as tense, just as nail-biting, just as emotional, just as armrest gripping on watch #400 as it is on 1. And if you make it 4,000 it'll be the same thing. Truly the apex of DCS Cinematics!

Goosebumps Jesus this is the best one ever created in dcs ever!! You are making history in dcs and we will keep supporting you!
This is incredible! The intensity is on 1000! Great footage.
I am absolutely amazed at how you create projects this well. If you've ever created a cinematic you understand how hard these types of video are. Incredible amount of effort and amazing quality.
Amazing work! Idk how many times I have seen it, since its launch. Awaiting impatiently for your new work my fellow aviation enthusiast.
Man this is next level. It is astonishing how far you are putting the quality in. This just looks like a real life movie... but even better!
This is by far the best DCS video I’ve seen in years, good job !
Nice! Actually looking forward to the release, your previous DCS video's where pretty awesome!
This was hands down some of the best editing, effects, and visuals I've seen come out of a DCS video just bloody spectacular!
This was the most amazing indie cinematography I have seen since the "Astartes" series. This is absolutely phenomenal.
Truly a masterpiece. Cinematic quality off the chart, all the way down to the smallest detail. Hats off to you - this brings a smile to my face
This looks like a real film. Awesome job mate. Much better than DCS official trailers!!!😱👌👌
Bravo
👏👏.
This is absolutely bonkers. Holy shit. Incredible. ... Give us more. 👀
Brutallllll!!!! esto es otro nivel... no creo que nos hagamos bien una idea de las horas que hay detrás de esto. Enhorabuena Adrián y resto del equipo que ha participado en el proyecto.
This is just....one of the best pieces of media for a video game I've ever seen, incredible, incredible work!! You've just set the bar so much higher!
Fantastic
Esto está a otro nivel!!! Ojalá se hiciese una serie con capítulos como este, con continuidad y demás....así como idea ;) Espectacular Adrián!
Wow that was just stunning, even the whole movie industry never made something so amazing
I watched the whole video and never realised you were the same genius that made the DCS World Fan Movie IV and V
Parents: aww look he playing with that plane, tank and missle truck, so cute!
How we imagined it:
I am not sure why I waited 2 days to watch this... that has to be the best cinematic I've seen overall!
How on earth was this not nominated in the Oscars' short film category????!!! Unbelievable work!
Bruuh.
WHAT THE FUCK. WHAT THE FUCK. WHAT THE FUCK.
im genuinely so speechless. dude. what the fuck. that was so damn good.
And this sound design! Specially the first 30 sec! Wow! Adrian and i have the same music taste...:)
Jesus, that was intense! Another freaking masterpiece! As soon as the notification came up it was an instant watch. Looking forward to more of your incredible content.
Absolutely insane, while we are not real pilots (most of us) you give us a piece of the dream of flight bundled with pure adrenaline and the thrill of combat. Bravo!
My favorite cinematic of any simulator to date is your earlier DCS World Fan Movie V, you are making it really hard to not like this one even better.
what.a.cinematic. Again, outstanding quality. I don't think it could hava been done better
woah...this is the best DCS video i've ever seen
what did just happen to my eyes? I can't believe what I saw. this movie is comprised of every incredible scene. I am totally sync with the pilot who maneuvers the falcon. got thrilled and felt even happy.
Great edit. Quite an interesting choice for soundtrack at the ending there... Love it!
With content THIS quality and visionary I'm actually stunned you don't have hundreds of thousands of subscribers and views at the bare MINIMUM- this is the best DCS available on the internet IMO. truly a gem and I hope you keep up this fantastic work ❤
You can watch this 400 times over and it'll be just as tense, just as nail-biting, just as emotional, just as armrest gripping on watch #400 as it is on 1. And if you make it 4,000 it'll be the same thing. Truly the apex of DCS Cinematics!
2:34 i like this effect so much.
I used this video in a presentation at German officer school. They really liked it lol.
Fucking hell, what am I meant to say? How is your stuff always so AMAZING?! The editing on this is out of this world for a DCS cinematic, this makes me partly want to come back to DCS again!
That was kick ass!!! My heart still pounding with that action!! Excellent job!!!
probably watched
this about 3000 times so far
Awesome video, you are seriously talented at cinema photography, keep up the great videos …. Loved your previous but this is better. Especially as you have used my fav module. ED this chap needs to be working on all of your cinema photography!
Отличная работа! Смотриться на одном дыхании.
Best cinematic DCS content I’ve seen yet, and I watch a LOT. Great job !!!
I come back here 9 months later to say no other cinematic DCS video has beaten this one...
Still the best!!
This is honestly one of the best DCS vids I've ever seen! Great job guys!
This is an absolute masterpiece some moments gave me chicken skin just because it was so intense.
Dios sante menuda maravilla. Si señor.
Awesome video as always, that was an epic short. Thanks for sharing.
At 4:16 - 4:17 ELI 1 momentarily re-retains his fuel tanks when breaking into the turn but then loses them again at 4:18. Took me a year of watching this over and over to notice 💀
its a cut to a different airplane my guy, thats his wingman
Hence the callout "Three coming in from the south sa6"
@@noirnit. His wing man still had weapons. At this point ElI 1 is the only naked aircraft making it his plane.
@@noirnit. Three was rolling in from the south with 2x AGM-65s to hit the SA-6.
I was sent this video and opened it without reading anything.
When the credit rolled, it made sense. There are few that can make this kind of high quality content consistently.
What a ride!
Amazing job Adrián and team!
