@bonelessbilly1109 No one would have described it as a waste if he suddenly retired at age 26 because he had some sort of physical condition that prevented him from riding. They would have wished him well, even though they were no longer getting a return on their investment. This is only a problem because some AusCycling personnel took HIS decision personally, which they didn't need to.
He probably took one look at Rayguns breakdancing and thought 'if this the future of Australian sport, I'm outta here '
