The entire point of Naruto and Sasuke's fight in the manga was to show how effortlessly Sasuke could trample on Naruto's progress. If the two fought on equal footing like they did in this game, it wouldn't prove much, nor would it set in that Sasuke is still way out of Naruto's reach, and that Naruto still needs to train more.
@@Essu_ They never even fought at that point in the anime. And also, no, Naruto and Sasuke didn't fight in equal footing in the game at all. Sasuke was holding back a lot through the whole fight. Naruto gave his all, even used nine tailed fox chakra and his most powerful jutsu at the time, the giant rasengan. Sasuke, on the other hand, didn't even use the curse mark stage one or his strongest jutsu, the kirin. He would've curb stomped Naruto and all hus buddies here if he went all out and game goes out of the way to show you that in the post battle cutscene.

There's no surprises, and no clash that Sasuke ultimately loses. It's entirely a one sided stomp. Why everytime I play as Naruto in Ninja Storm 2 story mode he's just overpowered, like name one fight he doesn't ultimatley get the dub in that game because in the other games he's either fighting someone handcapped or holding back or he wins with help.
This is how the fight should've been in the anime and manga. This game did the fight justice.
