They took the battles from the first one to another level. But I believe that is because is the best part of the Shippuden to me instead of the ones that Storm 3 covers.
@Koshinya yeah storm 2's story covered the best parts in all of Naruto imo so that was another why the story amd bosses were so good. The boss fights in 3 and 4 were still awesome too.
In Itachi vs. Sasuke boss battle there is a secret quick time event, you need to throw a shuriken to Itachi while he is throwing one to you, and when they clash, there is a special moment where they start to throw a lot of shurikens and kunais, the one who taps the button more times wins
Ah, I remember this game! It was such my fun. I started playing after 'The Broken Bond', which had a wonderful sense of gameplay (like the QTE tree jumping), but man, how the Ultimate Storm franchise completely dominated the combat system. I'll probably buy UNS4 sometime in the future. Just to relive those memories :D
@Insight Hazard Well there are fights that are for sure miles better in the game but there others that are better in the anime. For example the fight vs Orochimaru was x1000 better in the game but personally I prefer the fight vs Pain from the anime.

I mean, is a game, when you pay for a game the least you do is to sit and play 🤣 he just recorded the gameplay, thing that I as a viewer appreciate, but still I wouldn't call "dedication" go through a videogame, he even couldn't get the hidden cinematics and that's the best thing of the battles!

Yes this is the beginning - middle section of the story so Pain is the final boss. For Ninja Storm 3 it picks up from Nine tails attack in the past - beginning of War arc just before Obito gets revealed.
I prefer these battles way more than the third game the only ones i liked in the third was naruto vs sasuke and naruto vs kurama but ninja storm 2 i love every boss fight

Sorry, My pc wasn't very good when I did it. When I recorded at the time, I was doing the fights trying to do it as quickly as possible, paying attention if the video didn't drop frame if I took too long recording.

I had a 360 but not a ps3 and was sad that I had to miss out on storm 1 years ago, so I was hyped as fuck when the news came out that storm 2 was coming to xbox. Preordered ASAP and played the demo over and over again. Good times, man.
They will have a full story mode of the entire naruto series. I expect that all the bosses in the series returns and they bring the content that have been cut out in first games. All we know until know is that it will cover all four games and the mode will be similar to storm 4 and Demon Slayer Story mode. I just wanted that it had the free open world and the map of the village too just like storm 1, 2 and 3.

Something i hate (and also was wondering) about the (PS4) Trilogy...The Theme music wasn't the same like on the ps3 ! Like Naruto vs Pain Final Fight they just played the music from Naruto (Ninetails) vs Pain ;-; OR Jiraya vs Pain in the end the moment he was about to die wasn't the same. The original (or ps3 version) theme music was lightless struggle. I hope you know what i mean
I think we can all agree that of the major bosses... The Gaara VS. Deidara fight is an absolute pain in the ass. I hated that fight when playing this, and still do while watching this, because I remember just how difficult it was for me.
