Hey Charlie, this is a tip about getting your villagers out of your house, in my experience, whenever I have a villager in my house that I don't want to be in my house, when they're still in the doorway, I talk to them 4-7 times, give or take, and one to two minutes later, they leave. Not sure if this is just a coincidence or if it works for other people but I hope it helps you.
for me i time jump every now and then (for furniture etc.) so cockroach's end up in my house, when they stay and villingens tru tk come inside my house, they leave lol

You can just try to leave and it kicks them out instantly, and leaves you inside.

Another tip is that you never stay in the main room and if they say they wanna come over, Don’t go in the main room
