So informative! Love that there were examples of growing mediums along with the samples of containers used. Cotton cloths seem economical. Never considered restaurant napkins. Additionally, using vinegar to sanitize as well as control mold was also novel. Many thanks for this informative video. Here's to an amazing 2024. May your channel continue to grow. Blessings to you and your family.

A lot of the things we know now, we learned from experimenting and trying different methods. It's the best way to learn and improve. Also we love that there's more than one way to grow food. Thank you and hope you have a wonderful 2024, blessing to you and your family as well💚

Mother Nature sure is amazing! A few years back I got intrigued with the idea of growing micro greens and ordered a bunch of seeds and kits from West Coast Seeds but they’re still untouched and in a basement closet somewhere. I had no idea about the different types of growing mediums that can be used or even what to do to get started. Thanks for showing. The seeds are a few years old by now but hopefully some will still be viable so I’m going to hunt for them and try the glass dish/muslin cloth method. 👍❤

This is cool. I've seen videos with soil or hemp mats as grow medium but it's cool that paper napkins can be used if supplies are scarce.

Just by the look of it, it seems that having a sprouting tray will yield more sprouts. Right? Is it because it was able to drain?

i noticed the same thing! also i think it might also help not overwater the sprouts. what do you think @plantedinthegarden?

Hello there! Happy New Year! I've been enjoying your informative RUclips videos immensely. If it's okay with you, I'm curious about where you reside in Canada and what is your hardiness zone. I'm based in Toronto and planning to grow a few new things this year.

Why don't peas rot when you sprout them? All my beans are rotten even though the sprouts are still sprouting, I don't understand what's wrong.
