Dude ur under ever tesla vid ever made. Biggest tesla d rider ever. I cant believe u really just said that. Cmon, man. Straight up delusion. Cars front looks like some weird chinese fish design. Then it does the typical blog egg design all the way to the rear. The front is sleek then the rest of the car is a blob. Its like two different people made the car. Still has no actual luxury interior and with a dull plain jane cockpit that doesn't even have a gauge cluster screen or a HUD. Model 3 is for people that cant afford a real sports car so they have to get an EV. 😂 it has one thing going for it. That's it. Thing looks like basic traffic

I jumped on the car and was able to get a red/black version with the rebate. It's absolutely gorgeous inside and out. The Alcatera is lovely on the side doors. I absolutely love my 2024 M3P but definitely some build/paint issues reported by a majority of new deliveries. Had to have Tesla repaint a couple panels and give me a service credit on another. There was a paint chip, dirt inclusions and paint drip.
Interior accent lighting has some “delamination” like issues. Right sub woofer rattle at some frequencies. Driver dash with a subtle rattle at some frequencies of road vibrations. Many report their pulling heavy to the right. Mine drives perfectly straight. Unfortunate so many people having issues on delivery with things Tesla supposedly sorted out on prior releases.

I've had my 2024 M3P for a few weeks now. Overall the build quality has been pretty good. However, I had to take it to the service center to deal with rattles in the driver side dash and noise from the aero caps when driving at low speed. Panel gaps and paint were pretty good with only some minor flaws.

32:00 When you open the door, its window lowers a little bit and slides back up when you close the door. Pay attention to the prints in the bottom left corner of the window and you'll see that it actually moves up and down.
It's either a desired behavior or not. I think it is, given that it knows to slide back up when you close the door. My guess is that when the door and the window are closed, the very top of the window slides behind a seal. Which is why it has to be lowered upon opening the door. If that's the case, it's cleverly implemented there by using the same piece of hardware for the sliding/opening in a single gesture and the automated slide back.
Another guess would be that they just didn't want 2 different hardwares to control the door and the window. Then they noticed that opening the door could/would slightly open the window as well, so they've implemented the slide back.

I took delivery last week and the build quality was great. So far the car is amazing in every way. I'm loving my first Tesla. For perspective I've owned almost every badass race car out there except Porsche. AMGs, BMW, Chevy, Japan... all of em. The performance on this car all day every day is unreal. I have an old VBOX and fired it up. Best runs so far 0-60 in 2.9 and 0-100 in 6.8. Thats supercar speeds. I sold a 2021 Charger wide body scat for this. I do miss the exhaust note and the widebody scat always got a nod everywhere I went. This car lacks character and unless you know.... you dont know. That's my only negative. I'm gonna drive it until the next best thing drops... which will most likely be an EV. Thanks for the video.

It looks alot better in person, and if you are getting this car make sure the exterior contrasts the wheels. I wouldn't get the gray bc it doesn't accentuate the wheels or the other body modifications it has. A Red, White, or Blue makes the cars extra body mods pop out more.

  • @theElemDragon
    @theElemDragon 4 месяца назад

In regards to the rear light situation, it wasn't that Tesla was required to put the lights down low on the bumper like that. It's a federal motor vehicle safety standard. If a car is sold in the US, the tail lights are required to be on a fixed body panel. If they're on a movable body panel (i.e. rear tailgate or trunk like here on the refreshed Model 3), a secondary set of lights are required as a safety precaution in case you're stuck on the side of the road with your trunk open so cars coming up behind you can see you.
One question I have though. In the center storage areas..... did they change the material used from the previous generation Model 3 and the Model Y, or is it the same kind of felt? Hate how that seems to kind of just shed little black fibers all over whatever might happen to rub against it when it's in that little storage area in my 2023 Model Y.

This is Tesla’s best car for the buck, hands down !! It’s completely re-engineered & drives amazing. My complaints are also the turn signals, they do get stuck. IMO.. this may become a recall as a safety issue. Everyone had a problem & it needs to be addressed !! I didn’t notice the black trim being glossier or different. My M3P Paint is flawless, there are 3 panel gaps 2 on the driver side & one on the right side of the trunk. I also noticed the frunks struts sounds weird like they are broken pieces inside. I did address all of these with Tesla. Other than that the car is absolutely amazing 🤩⚡️

Select the Trim (Can be any)
Go down past the colours and select FSD full price purchse (hear me out)
Go back to the colours and select any
Accessories are not going to affect the eligibility of the tax credit

Let's not get carried away regarding Tesla build quality improvements. As Out Of Spec Dave reported, his brand new refreshed 3P has a squeaky center console and a rattle in the dash. As far as the spoiler, it's cheap of Tesla not to have a bolt on painted spoiler like the Model X has.
There have been fit and finish issues reported by Cybertruck owners too.
I'm surprised the NTSB allowed Tesla to remove the turn signal lever. I can see that cause issues in real world drivings situations.

80% of quality is engineering. You can’t fix the poor ergonomics decisions made by the engineers. The center console that drivers have to use to access most features of the car can’t be fixed. The lack of real turn signals stalks. Decisions like that plague the car.

Model S has carbon fiber in many places, Alcantara headliner, nicer Center Console armrest, uninterrupted glass roof lets in much more light while blocking same amount of rays, bigger, tilting center screen. Have 2023 Plaid and build is much better than early VIN versions. Had 2021 early release version and this is much improved. Plaid takes too much heat- better car now and much cheaper.

There seem to be a lot of people suggesting this new M3P is light-years ahead of any Tesla ever built. It's a nice car, but will never compete against a Model S and in reality is only very slightly better than the older M3P.

Tesla build quality will almost certainly never be as good as BMW or other high end grade fit n finish because their production build process just doesn't allow for levels of nearly perfection. Tesla is all about volumes over perfection.

Why bother though, the interior is just plain ugly. Oh but wait...great news, the panel gaps have improved.
