I agree. I would love to see the difference. I'm guessing the base model is in the mid 2 minute 30 with the native version as reports have been it's not as much of a ram hog vs the Rosetta.
One thing that we always failed to mention when you buy an iMac opposed to a Windows box is the native software that comes on the iMac that makes it ready to do major work right out of the box. That is not the case with a windows PC. You have software like Garage Band, iMovie, and iWorks these are applications that are already on the iMac ready to go without any issues or additional configuration. You can make videos and music at a very high level day one without spending a dime. You have to go out and buy all those things in order to start doing anything on a Windows PC😮. The next thing is interoperability with your iPhone, iPad, and any other iPad or other accessories in the Apple ecosystem. The HP is not going to have that capability you will need to do all kinds of extra work to get it to interact with other phones, tablets, and other accessories. This is why Apple continues to dominate because of the interoperability and collaboration across multiple platforms with little to no effort. Did I also mention you can share most of the applications on your iMac, iPhone, and iPad? Did I mention you can upgrade to the next OS release with very little effort and no cost. You current iMAC will be compatible and work well with the next 3-4 versions of MAC OS. We all know that is not the same for Windows PCs.

My problem is this more expensive than the MB air yet the same performance. Previous iMacs were more expensive but also had more performance. Maybe 1 extra Performance core would fix it.
2 things so far: 1. Louder speakers doesn’t = better quality speakers. HP’s speakers are LOUDER. The iMac’s speakers are BETTER. 2. The iMac’s camera is far superior than the HP’s.
P.s. never open the activity monitor or task bar during the testing... export speed or Geekbench. They uses a lot of CPU... on my intel mac or pc when I'm opens, then it load my cpu up to 30-40% and you lose the performance.

To do a proper speaker sound quality comparison you have to do it in the same volume or else the louder one will almost always sound better. Volume is obviously an important factor to a speaker but it isn’t the only factor that makes a speaker sound good.
Just making excuses for HP smoking overpriced MAC on sound quality , for matching those overpriced Mac you should compare it to custom build gaming PC .

I hope they improve the speakers on the larger I-Mac, and I like that the HP has an HDMI In and an HDMI out, I would love for the next I-Macs and Mac Minis to have that feature as well. The quality of the I-Mac display is much better. My HP ENVY laptop only has 12 GB of Ram and only 2 GB of Video Ram. It does have 16 GB of Octane memory on the drive, that it says is a HD but my system says it is Solid State and it would not let me fragment it. It is also 1 TB. It is 17 inch and has HDMI, 3 USB-A, 1 USB-C, an Ethernet, SD Card reader and a DVD/CD writer/reader. Comes in handy for installing my printer/scanner drivers and software. It has an 8th Generation processor, so it can run Windows 11 when it comes out. Funny, my new 12.9 I-Pad Pro with 1 TB SSD, comes with more ram than my HP Laptop. I love that you can get more ram and higher capacity SSD, more CPU & GPU cores, where as my HP only has 4 cores. No wonder I want an Apple computer. I would get the I-Mac and a docking station, for the extra ports. It would be worth it. I would rather have an Apple I-Mac than a PC. With Parallels you can run Windows 10. I don’t know about Windows 11 yet, if you need Windows at all. I have a Windows HP I can always run Windows 10 or 11 on that for Access and Publisher. (Don’t know why these applications are not included in Mac’s Office 365. Between those two computers, I would get the I-Mac, with 2TB, and 16GB of Ram. Probably in the Blue.
I really like this video it shows you that Apple’s quality of computers are very high compared to the Windows PCs. Apple has computers that have better processors that are custom designed and they also use better materials. The performance is also a lot better on these M1 Macs. These videos make me want to get an M series processor in the future. Just waiting for the larger iMac to become available.
The HP doesn’t look too bad, but I strongly prefer the look of the iMac. Unpopular opinion: I wouldn’t complain if the new 32” iMac had the same design and also came in a bunch of colours including Space Grey>
HP: We made a computer with louder speakers, wireless charging base, and a webcam with a bigger resolution than the iMac! Apple: Oh that's cool but what about the performance? HP: The what?
I don’t think that the speaker test was fair. The iMac has a smaller and tighter space for the speakers, and the speakers doesn’t take up the whole chin compared to the HP. The HP AIO takes advantage of the whole chin for loud sound and deep bass, and it is thicker. If the HP AIO had the same thinness and space as the iMac, I think the iMac would win.
Bro this guy is messing with u. He is comparing the base cheapest hp all in one which is half the price of the base imac. Price for price, u can get the hp envy all in one with a much more powerful processor, thunderbolt, small bezels and a 4k display. Max tech used to be fair but now it's just apple praise all day.
What do you mean? M1 iMac is AIO, so comparing it to another AIO is kinda fair. Maybe compare it to Surface Studio, but not custom PC since the title said AIO..
@@Manishnishad007 Name a Windows AIO which costs the same as M1 iMac to compare then. Why you complain that he finds a product with similar price to compare? It is funny.
Would you consider doing a comparison of the M1 with the 4k HP 27" Pavilion? It has i7, 16gb ram and 1tbssd. Would be a perfect comparison with the higher end M1, the only general spec difference off the batt being the screen size.
I feel like forcing you to buy a hub is an overall better quality of life choice that Apple is making for you. Nobody likes trying to find the port in the back when they are going to plug something in. Makes much more sense to have the ports there for you accessible for maybe $30.
For web test, that would be amazing to test with ressource heavy stuffs like Vectary or professional ones that need more power such as Figma. This HP model would probably burn on Vectary
if you can wait until the end of the year, I would suggest waiting, M1 MacBook Pro is a great and powerful laptop, but it's not the best value for money, since the performance is too similar to the M1 MacBook Air, but if money's not a problem go for M1 MacBook Pro and then trade it in for M1X MacBook Pro when it drops!
Only on paper , it’s power is only on paper while on hardware no apps and software is built to utilised it and Apple hold back its power , Apple is shit in gaming and office productivity, M1 power is not utilised and is held back so useless in real world
@@Manishnishad007 Calm down dude. Why would they fully utilise its power if some of the apps can take its advantage. Maybe by end of 2021 m1 will be better than it currently is. This is what sucks so much this days. Apple's stuff nails so many points when it comes the hard stuff like Display quality, Performance, ... but sucks on purpose on things like storage size or ports.
When I look at this the thickness of the bezels actually stands out more than the fact that they're beige. Apple has to start working on it's bezel game!

I agree. I would love to see the difference. I'm guessing the base model is in the mid 2 minute 30 with the native version as reports have been it's not as much of a ram hog vs the Rosetta.

Here is the real difference… the Mac will be working perfectly in 10 years, the HP will be in the garage.
Thank you. I just bought IMac after watching this great comparison. Cant wait for it to be delivered ❤️
For a while, I thought the new iMac looked pretty bad. But after seeing it in person and seeing the other Windows all in ones, it actually looks pretty good.

And the performance... M1 wins
@Muhammad Ehtasam that's just not true lol
In connectivity sound quality gaming , office suite and wireless charging price point HP wins
@Muhammad Ehtasam that isn’t true, it looses because it isn’t made by Apple
@@Manishnishad007
connectivity - no, it doesn’t have Thunderbolt and only has one USB-C port which would be really annoying for people like me who have everything USB-C now, at best this is a draw.
Sound quality - yes
Gaming - well, yes, but only because of Windows.
Office suite - what? You can get MS Office on both.
Wireless charging - yeah, I mean, that’s kind of nice, but I don’t think anyone is going to buy it for that since you can get a wireless charger for about £10
Price - well, yeah, it’s a little cheaper, but it also has much worse specs, so it’s really worse value overall.
Hello, I have HP Pavilion27 almost a year. Feels like the apple, but was a pain in the ass to set up. Came with FreeDOS, secure boot was not set up by HP. So only what i envy from apple users is the ease of use. I have to buy an xrite display studio to set up corrcect colors.
What I love
- get rid of the cables
- no several boxes, only the monitor
My problem is this more expensive than the MB air yet the same performance.
Previous iMacs were more expensive but also had more performance.
Maybe 1 extra Performance core would fix it.
iMac webcam quality and mic quality is way better!
Finally... I give up on windows... M1X please come and get my money..
Finally a comparison between iMac v all In one
The webcam comparison was hilarious as fuck.
2 things so far:
What Max Tech (and every other tech reviewer) fails to mention is that you can add the full sized keyboard to the iMac for $20 USD ($30 CAD)

You missed a big difference; the HP has a touchscreen. Subjective usefulness, but if it matters to you, no Mac has it.
i like that wireless charging area on the base. hope the imac also includes it too
To do a proper speaker sound quality comparison you have to do it in the same volume or else the louder one will almost always sound better. Volume is obviously an important factor to a speaker but it isn’t the only factor that makes a speaker sound good.
Just making excuses for HP smoking overpriced MAC on sound quality , for matching those overpriced Mac you should compare it to custom build gaming PC .
So you want to pull out 12 GB Ram and 1TB ssd for 8gb and 256 gb on Mac , lol HP has more power and better speakers Thats why it can go louder , Mac is trapped on autistic body

the sound of the hp is better but the cam quality is horrible I mean wtf is that cam quality??
Another option is to get a Mac mini with 4k monitor, Logitech mouse n keyboard
Except that'll be more money than the iMac and have slightly lower resolution. Don't forget a keyboard and mouse.
I cannot believe that that HP employs a 1080p panel in 2022...
07:00 the iMac 24 inch more bass and the Pc all in one is louder
It amazes me that they didn't bother to put FaceID and a wireless charger into the iMac. They're all about that integration
I wonder who paid for all in one PC nowsaday.
I choose the 2021 24" iMac. We need Windows on ARM.
There is windows on arm, get Parallels.

I feel like forcing you to buy a hub is an overall better quality of life choice that Apple is making for you. Nobody likes trying to find the port in the back when they are going to plug something in. Makes much more sense to have the ports there for you accessible for maybe $30.
I think it’s best to have a few ports that you know you will use than a bunch of ports you will never use. Even if less ports means more dongles.
