I owned a 1.6 vento TDI.
The engine was a gem.
Pickup is not everything. The drive feel, power feel, in gear acceleration and that solid built with a solid power supply made everyone to adore it after driving.
A sensor issue happened.
No one could sort it out.
Service Center were more than happy to change everything possible and still not bear any responsibility if it didn't work.
They asked me to experiment 70k.
I asked for the surety and they said this the possible we can do and we have to further look if it didn't work.
Today I have an Altroz 1.5D. It is an excellent car for it price but this good 1.5 D is just 60% to the 1.6 D of Vento.

Ravi ji. I own polo from last 10years. Whenever I start driving it gives happiness in driving. Maja aata hein.. What owner says right, their focus is on export market and not on domestic market. They are not putting efforts on marketing their superb product. For e.g. the doubt about service cost spares they are not able to convey facts.

On the contrary to this customer, I had a very pleasant experience of the delivery of my Polo 1 year back @ VW Dehradun. It was my b'day n they organised the whole cake cutting and sweet distribution ceremony for me. Guess he just got unlucky with the car dealership he chose.

I came to know about its beast power only after 6 months of ownership just when I was about to miss a flight and i rev d it so hard . I was able to overtake almost all cars except few biggie like fortuner etc .

Subah start karte h ye batata h ki mai 3 cylinder engine hu almost always after 1 minutes of idle it's NVH level drastically decrease and it's buttery smooth afterwards
Let your car reach 70-80k km then ur gear box will fail n min cost to repair or replace will be around 5 lakh plus 🤣

10K service interval aur 15K service interval me farak hota hai. Logo ko iss karan cost jyada lagti hai

Polo GT costs 12 lacs OTR . Taigun highline automatic costs 17 lacs on the road. 5 Bhp and 3 nm torque more in Taigun but it is 205 kg more in weight. Hence absolutely the fun to drive will be Polo , still Taigun is much costlier than Polo. That's why VW stopped the production of Polo in order to get sales for their new product TAIGUN. If there's Polo , majority of people go after Polo since its value for money when compared to Taigun.

I am vw polo petrol 1.2 comfortline 2014 model owner, after 8years of driving experience,i would say VW is VW, no issues faced till now, aj bhi ekdum makkhan chalti hai, no maintenance issues in engine after 81000 Km , engine is power packed...I love polo...Vw come back with New Polo, with more power packed performance...
