- Roku and Roku TVs offer thousands of channels, but it’s not so obvious where to find the best free movies, shows and live TV.
So here’s my top 10 free Roku channels, and some tips on how to get the most out of these channels.

All of these Roku apps can be added by heading over the streaming channels tab on the Roku home screen, or by going to the Roku Channel Store online.

Great and very useful presentation! I just installed my second Roku Streambar and it will not turn on using the remote. Everything else works fine and the first one I installed works perfectly. Do you have any idea what could be wrong? I am a nontechnical senior who loves streaming and sincerely appreciates your presentations. Thank you very Much.
Hi Robin, I have yet to try a Roku Streambar. If you are using batteries that were included with the soundbar's remote control, I would replace them. Sometimes when I get a new product, the batteries that are included aren't so great.
Most Roku remotes also have a pairing button located under the battery slots. You can use that to pair your Roku remote to your soundbar.

You guys remember floTV? I remember when that first came it was the coolest thing. You could get a little TV from best buy from the company and pay whatever monthly fee for it and it was a mobile TV service. Some phones from AT&T had it built in as well. It was cool because after cable went digital, mobile televisions became obsolete because you needed a digital tuner so you needed a converter box on older televisions so 12v monochrome CRT mobile televisions went strait in the trash. New televisions came with digital tuners built in but flat screens of the time were still really heavy and cumbersome. FloTV was the messiah in the dark ages of mobile television.

We don’t get Roku live channel’s over here in the UK, would love it though.
I have Xfinity xb8 and i just bought this first stick but I’m not getting a WiFi-6 option when searching WiFi connections , I did separate the WiFi connections also so I have 2.4,5ghz &6ghz but no WiFi option to select it on the firestick
I didnt know the star button does that for live channels
Peacock is great for English premier league soccer...for an additional fee..
I would join your channel, but I have not seen any content for the UK and as I live in the UK,
I am not interested in American channels and that is why I have not purchased a Roku as it all seems to be for America
CBS Sports HQ and Stadium TV for free sports
For free content I don't find Peacock or PBS to be all that great and have deleted them - can find most of the shows elsewhere with ease.
