Jeremy has the magical ability to transport you right into the middle of the show when he sings. With Santa Fe, I feel like I am watching Newsies! Never stop being magical Jeremy.❤
I saw Jeremy do this last night at Feinstein's in San Francisco. What a talented performer. He says "Santa Fe" is his favorite song and he seems to find something fresh in each performance.
I grew up on the movie version of Newsies and watched it over and over and… imagine my delight when the Military took my family to NM. My poor kids got so sick of me singing this 🙃. I made it up to my oldest when I took her to see this on Broadway.
This man's voice, humor and acting (plus his sweetness when performing with/talking about Ashley) has pretty much gotten me thru a pretty rough surgical recovery. In a business where you need to be everything and anything, his genuine sincerity as a human being shines right thru. I'm finally well enough to to make it into the city to see him this coming Sunday at the Westside Theater and I am soooo looking forward to it.
Christian Bale's version is more day-dreamy and relaxed Jeremy Jordan's version is more frustrated and angry Corey Cott's version is more sad and disappointed and I love all of them.
@@dankiumzed2831 Hard for him to hit. Might've been something wrong with his voice, honestly no clue but it might've just been that it's safer to go lower cause you're less likely to crack and fail the note. He wanted it to sound good and put that over the impressiveness of hitting the A5. That note is high for a lot of tenors.
It’s a mashup between the beginning song and the reprise. He’s performed that several times because everyone likes both versions but they want to hear that high note.
The way he automatically switches to a New York accent
I love it
Well I mean, you gotta!
I think he has the best broadway voice. Ben Platt is amazing but his voice can sing as a solo artist. This is the definition of musical theater voice
Agreed
Fr I love him so much 😭(I’m talking abt Jeremy if that wasn’t clear lol)
I’ll never get bored of him singing Santa Fe I love him so much ❤❤❤❤
Sameeee
I love how he never gets tired of this song
LOL same

I love the transition between the opening number and the end of act one here.
He can sing this song his whole life and I won’t ever stop loving it❤️
Doesn't matter how long it's been, this dude can just become Jack Kelly whenever he wants lol
Its called acting!
@@shubadawuba Indeed, and particularly impressive acting at that

How does he sound even better now than when he was younger? He's unreal❤

@@TheDuckKing007 It. Was. Incredible. I’m still recovering tbh
Where did you see him? I just watched him live in the Great Gatsby
@@samuelvis04 Gatsby when it was in papermill :)
LUCKY!
Incredible man, excellent performer. Will never get sick of him singing this song, always makes me cry.
This gives me major throwbacks of those disney recodings where it’s just Jeremy singing and Alan Menken on the piano
God i love him so much hes so damn good HES A F GOD OF BROADWAY!!!!
Jeremy is just indescribable and he never ceases to amaze me. I hope someday I get a chance to see him perform on broadway in person!
I am SO utterly broken hearted I couldn't go to this and see him sing this live 😭😭😭😭😭💔💔💔💔
Just bought tickets today to see him live next year (been trying for a month!). He’s my dream Broadway performer to see!
My favorite jack kelly ❤
I just saw a really good highschool production.....but I needed this immediately after. ❤️
He is so heavenly y

This was such a great show!
This is phenomenal 🤩
Amazing

Never get tired of that. Wow !
Awesome job
I have his cd 💿 of Newsies
this song belongs to him
screaming crying
Hazbin Hotel fans watching Newsies because of Jeremy Jordan like "why is everyone doing an Angel Dust accent"
OH YEAH although I found this before hazbin
LMFAO! I forgot that Newsies was supposed to be in New York. Called me out.
❤❤
is it just me, or is he singing in a lower pitch than he did in the show?
He did for sure
Yes, he sung an A5 in the original show. This is SLIGHTLY below a G#.
@@jethrostallard my question is why? Is something wrong with his voice?

@@jethrostallard oh ok. I thought there was something wrong with his voice! We don't want another Julie Andrews situation
i listen to this religiously to pretend varian is singing this

How about singing the original
Because he’s sing the broadway version (which is also better)
It’s a mashup of the opening number version and the reprise.
