What a very relaxing video David, I was just sitting back thinking that TX63 was just plodding along without a care in the world. My neighbor who now runs 4 Claas LEXION machines did for a long time hold on to his TX63 as it never ever gave an major issues, but sadly its been away for a few years now. The 7718S and the Lely baler were also just seamlessly flying though the straw with total grace. The other thing that stood out for me was that his PTO Guards were working as they should be. Really gets my goat and is one of my Pet Hates with some farmers, when there not chained or locked and have seen far too many near misses! Some people take farm safety far too lightly, and being honest I used to be like that when I was young, but having had a tractor accident at 16, that sure woke me up to doing things the correct way! Thanks for another great video David.

Thank you for watching Fraser… Yes that lovely TX63 just purrs away, never missing a beat! I think the farmer has owned it about 20 years (it’s second owner) and he raves about it’s performance and total reliability for every season he harvests with it. That’s some fleet, 4 Lexions, wouldn’t mind seeing them in action. Yes the 7718S and baler were well matched, easy going for them with that neat straw trail. Your right, sometimes the simplest little procedure that could potentially save a serious injury or worse gets forgotten about, I know many farmers round my area that are fastidious about maintenance of their equipment but suppose (although I don’t know of anybody) that let the little but essential and easily repair jobs slip. Thanks again Fraser, take care. 😀Cheers, David.

Very nice David, belt baler i see much better for silage, but contractors find them more expensive and go for the roller type in general, nice massey, cheers .

Thanks Steve. Yes these Lely balers are really popular with the farmer owners round here, far more popular than the Claas machines though there’s an odd John Deere about too. Yeh nice Massey, a well matched combo! Cheers, David
