Wood, when the podcast is over at the end of the year, you should start posting the previous bonus episodes here once a week, even if they’re not relevant anymore. As a way to preserve them and to have them accessible to the fans after the patreon is closed.

I am terribly devastated. This podcast made me look forward to my Thursday, every single week for the past 80 weeks. I loved the chemistry and the great friendship that felt more and more natural and authentic. I’m sad but I understand.

@@JeskidoYT i didn’t say they were enemies though. But if you watched the whole video they did talk about their disagreements and not being sure if it would end well. Scoot even mentioned that each would come to them complaining about the other and he would tell them “oh you’re just reading into that wrong, I would have done that too”. So I wasn’t wrong in my analysis. They did get along better as the podcast continued but you can totally see the moments where they rubbed each other wrong. I also felt that Bob is more of the attitude “lofe is hard for everyone, I’m not going to complain about mine” and Wood is more of “woe is me” and Bob’s face when Wood would bring up stuff about woe is me in regards to his family was priceless. You could see the glazed look over his eyes. It was just interesting to watch their body language

Honestly it had felt for a few months now that bob really wasnt into it anymore, im glad they can finish the project amicably and that he isnt forcing himself to keep doing it anymore, I feel that would have strained their relationship to a breaking point

Next podcast they’ll laugh at us falling for it 😂 I honestly watched the podcast in large part for the human dynamics at play. They looked so passive aggressive at each other sometimes. Bob seems to be of the mentality “hey life is tough for everyone, I’m not gonna moan about mine” and wood is more the opposite of woe is me and seeing Bob’s face every time that happened was interesting. And it looks like there was some truth to what I perceived from what they said here. But good for them choosing to work together this long even despite those grievances at first.

I didn't realize it was Wood pushing on Wolf to do the podcast. In my opinion Wood should find a guy who is more enthusiastic about doing the podcast, like Scooty. Keep the Nontendo brand and do that, lots of people would be here for it.

Guys, i will admit this episode broke me, Wood opening up about thinking inside his head that Bob didnt want to do anything with him, Scootish crying about worrying about his friends being mad that he moved to California.... Bob being so supportive to Wood and Scootish and Wood being supportive.... WOW 😢😢

The reason this broke me (not because the podcast will be ending) is because I had a friend about 9 years ago that I pushed away due to my mental health and lately he has been in contact and offered to take me to watch our local soccer team here in England and that made me cry because it gave me hope to get that friendship back as I lost 9 years of it. But you Sir, you have amazing friends.

It's sad, yeah: but they've provided good times and some really fun podcasts, it's simply what they decided is better for their own selves and they've decided to publicise it.
Wood could turn the Nontendo Podcast into a Guest Podcast similar to Anthony's "I Spent A Day With" series! Maybe get an episode with Nathaniel Bandy, Scott The Woz, Arlo or other Nintendo youtubers, and if Bob wants, add him back for a few episodes maybe by the time of the Switch 2
Obviously wont be the same tho, Bob brought too much to this Podcast, I cant imagine the next episodes without him :(

I’d buy the Nontendo 2024 mech, and Nontendo 2025, Nontendo 2026… Also anytime you guys make a panel together you should post the recording here.
It would be good for us as viewers. But. They wouldn’t benefit from any financial gain from doing that compared to pumping out videos every week so it won’t happen 🙂🙃

It could also not have to be a weekly thing. Once a month might have kept Wolff around longer. Or rotate the co-hosts by the week, Wood seems energized by talking about stuff with other people while it takes a lot out of Wolff so a change in format could've been the solution.
@@u.2b215 DOing weekly podcasts is incredibly difficult. It's a lot of planning and schedule management. I am very impressed with people that keep it up.

@@nomaern1690 I feel he ahouldn't have said yes in the first place to doing the podcast if he really didn't want to, specially how he's essencially the "tape" thats holding everthing toguether seeing that because of him quitting, Wood is not willing to continue.
It does suck that the podcast is ending but there was definitely some tensions brewing between them two some episodes back especially the episode following the direct that included Mario Wonder. It felt like two friends bickering but having to stay civil on camera
Yeah you can always kinda feel the egos rubbing, maybe they need some space to have their best creativity. It was an interesting project.

Wood is such an endlessly-entertaining RUclipsr & Twitch streamer, easily 1 of my Top 5 content creators ever. He deserves a Podcast that can go fully long-term.
Wood's first Podcast was pretty good although in my opinion his original co-host didn't bring much to the table but Wood teaming with Wulff Den for his second Podcast was a perfect match as Nontendo was way better than the previous Podcast. Given Wood & Wulff Den's real friendship, it easily translated to genuine on-air chemistry on their show, love listening to Nontendo when out driving or during breaktimes at work. Sad that they decided to end it.
Hopefully third time will be the charm for Wood if he decides to start a new podcast although whoever Wood chooses as his new co-host will have some massive shoes to fill. Just hope he doesn't pick that scootish guy to do a new Podcast with, no offense but I can't stand scootish.
@@DragonHeart613 I really think Wood needs more of like a Sidekick kinda guy. Wolf is a little bit too much of an ego himself with his own aspirations to combine optimally. That's also why I think Scooty, or anyone agreeable and nice would be a decent option to continue the Podcast. I also really like the brand and they have tons of merch. There's not a necessity to have two bearded and long haired guys show up. Have a more average dude next to Wood is perfect in my opinion.

I'm not a big Podcast guy but Nontendo is one of the few I regularly listen to & watch, enjoyed Nontendo alot more than Wood's first podcast with what'shisname. Hate to see this show end as it was just so fun each & every episode.
Love Nontendo as well as Friendship Onion hosted by Lord of The Rings stars Dominic Monaghan & Billy Body. I also enjoy Joe Rogan Experience although I don't watch that one very often due to the fact that I can't stand Joe's co-host brenden shaub.

I feel like the biggest thing to come out of this podcast is the friendship of all the hosts and staff. Bob and Wood admitted at the beginning to barely knowing each other but it's clear they've become very close friends.
Totally respect Bob for whatever he wants to do - not a patreon but a subscriber to both of you guys, great content. Wood, you can certainly continue - take some time, think about how to move forward and reset at some point 🎉 it’s a solid brand and although Bob is half of that, it can continue

As someone with social anxiety and who doesnt have friends becuase of it and also isn't close with my family, your openess with your connections are very touching
I've never missed a single episode of the podcast, and as a result very early on, I have also never missed Bob's videos since (learned of him thanks to the podcast) in addition to Wood's videos also. While I am a little sad, I'm happy to have had something to look forward to every Friday (where I'm from) that helps me get through the week. Thank you to both of you and the rest of the crew that were or were not in this episode. I hope we'd still get some crossovers here and there between the two of you in your respective channels in the future.

I found this really hard. especially when Wood was talking about you guys are his family. I'm in a very similar position. I don't have much family at all. I live on my own most of the time too. me tuning in on Thursdays every week, made me also feel included in this family with you guys. I hope Wood can find some way of continuing this show because it felt like a point in my week i would strive towards. and i would hate to loose that. Much love guys!
Man I really feel Wood’s sentiments on relationships and family. I’d feel this way too if I were in his shoes but this podcast truly helped a lot of people out every week. Highlight of my week to watch these two banter back and forth.

The amount of awkwardness in this podcast
Honestly I can see Wood doing the podcast live and just talking and chilling with chat. Or they could just end it here and call it the end of season 1 of the podcast. It leaves a possibility of a season 2 if Bob wants to ever return or if Wood gets an idea that he’s 100% down to do.

I’m gonna miss this podcast. I love the energy you guys bring to it, and for it to be ending by the end of the year is crazy. At least it’s not entirely over yet, but at the same time it’s a bittersweet end for a fantastic podcast that I looked forward to each week.
I haven’t been subscribed to the patreon but it’s a shame that all those bonus episodes are just gonna disappear when the patreon shuts down for the podcast. I hope they can be saved somehow rather than be lost forever.

I am going to miss this. When I see nintendo news or tech news I always looked forward to seeing thier opinions on it on Thursday. I know they always kind of do it on thier own channel but the banter back and forth between their two views on a product was always fun to watch. Bob from the tech side and Wood on how a product makes someone feel.
Discord friendships are insane. Seeing Wood and the gang telling how they started as isolated friend groups then got formed in discord, that's some real feels. Love these guys.

As someone with a hybrid schedule whose office days end on Thursdays, this podcast has always been the best way to end my last office day for the week. With that being said, all I can think about rn is that I’m pretty sure the couch Bob & Wood are sitting on is the exact couch I have in my game room setup

can't blame Bob .. seemed as if wood had to always have the final say ... even saying "im going to apologize on bobs behalf"... the choice has nothing to do with wood ... these little passive aggressive comments that wood is so good at making .. Despite the subject matter of Bob leaving, honestly a very wholesome episode with the crew. Skoot's emotional bit honestly had me tearing up. Been here since episode 1, hope the best for all of you!

This episode had a lot of emotion and support in it and I've hardly commented on here but not to add too much to the fire but I've lost my brother since this podcast started and we watched youtube ALL the time. Getting some panda express and going over and just watching random stuff was a hobby of ours and I was a wulffden fan for a long time being a techy with a like good subtly and he got into watching Wood like 3 years ago being the absolute goofball he was so having you guys do a podcast was so weird but a cool thing for us. Having a podcast end made me more emotional than it should've been but it's been a lot of change recently and thank you both for the times.
You both have amazing chemistry. Bummed to hear this news but glad you're both pursuing endeavors that satisfy your creative itches. Hope we get to see future collabs but glad to have had the pod while we did. All the best!

Never more proud to be a fan of you guys! Individually and as a team. Beautiful episode, this one floored me but best one yet. I’ve been following these boys since some dark days during the pandemic, not as long as some but the distraction they gave me from some of the realities in my own life during that time was invaluable. This episode broke me a bit seeing these guys being so open and heartfelt. A true milestone in their careers. Bob had to make a tough call but he’s doing it for the right reasons. In the end it will benefit the friendship, and his own state of mind creatively. It’s never an easy thing to do. Woods got so much love for his friends and it’s a beautiful thing. Seeing his reaction to his friend leaving is tough but so heartfelt and raw, you know he really loves his people and what he does. And skootish opening up was heart wrenching and enlightening and only amplified the love in the room. Big changes have a way of highlighting what’s important in life, and what really matters. Anyways, finally made me a patreon! Sorry for the thumbs down!

My favorite episodes are the ones where you have guests from different studios come on and talk about industry elements that we would never see. I also like RGT’s one on ones with Spawncast members. You could reduce it from weekly to monthly to better coordinate the collabs.

Probably should have taken a week or a bit more to digest this info. You can tell Wood has resentment and conflicting feelings on this. Some callouts like you only get one successful podcast seems a bit regrettable given that this is not about money or success, but someone wanting to move on from something they're not into it and it shows. Bob looks a bit more loose and relaxed. Just wish this wasn't so raw for all to go through. Specially the guys on the back. I think one of them has not recuperated from hearing the news.
This is really sad to me. But hey! Life goes on and everyone’s gotta do what’s best for them! I love you guys so much and have loved listening to this podcast so so much! ❤️
Utterly devastated by the end of the podcast but grateful it happened. I have an anxiety disorder and podcasts help me to stay calm or feel okay a lot of the time and this podcast has been a huge help in my life.
At least have Wood as a guest on the wulffden podcast when there’s big Nintendo news…gonna miss it 😢

Woof. This podcast made me tear up in several different spots. I’m a bit emotional lol. I respect Bob’s decision. I really do. Bob might be the person I look up to the most while Wood is the one I relate to the most. It’s gonna be a real bummer to not have this every Thursday anymore. But at least we will have these episodes that we can look back at years from now.

@@myon9431 He’s very smart with tech, has done a lot to inspire me to branch out and try to learn more about it, experiment with things. Like modding a 3DS for example. That kind of stuff. ☺️

If Wood does keep going I imagine I'll be sticking around. I was vaguely aware of Wood before this podcast but it's what really got me to watch his content and subscribe to his channel.
I don't remember when I found Bob, I'd have to actually go dig through videos to be like "oh this is the one". Maybe when I was looking into the GPD XD a few years back?
Anyway it's been a good time and I'm glad it happened even if it's ending.
This is so weird to watch. Bob seems like he really didn't like doing this and can finally say so, Wood seems truly mad and possessive over Bob choosing to do his own thing. He is seething through this entire episode.

I've never been into podcasts. When this started, I got hooked on the first one. The dynamic, the topics and the overall vibe of the show always kept me either watching or listening in the background while I was doing something else. It's sad to hear the news, but I still watch both channels, so I know the entertainment will continue.
It's hard to let go of a good thing, but it's even better to be understanding enough to let go and encourage your friends/colleagues/pseudofamily, do what feels right, for them and their own happiness. ❤
Bob is the reason I really watch this one. Sad this will end but I can understand it.

Selfishly, it's easy to be bummed about this. I'd rather know that the friendship remains. As someone who has watched every episode, thank you guys and everyone who played a part to put these together all the way down to the guests. Happy for Bob, his schedule, and his inner peace.
