Just out of curiosity why the camera operator wasn't wearing a mask, but the workers were? I assume the mask is there to reduce contamination to the lenses being manufactured?

Forgive me if this is a silly question but should you buy a set of cinema lenses all at once or can you buy them individually with no variation in construction from lens to lens?
