    Thank you so much for this video. I’ve been trying to decide between the C3 and C6. I use opaque jars so top is more important than glass adhesion for me. Again thank you so much.
    Absolutely love the shirt BTW.
    Best of luck to you and your business.

      You're welcome! And thank you for the compliment 😊 Yes, it can be a struggle trying to find the best wax for your candles so I hope this video helped, also you can try mixing these waxes together or any other waxes you may like to get your desired outcome. I wish you the best with your business as well!

    Testing C6 right now as i watch this. 9oz candle science jar using cd 12 wick. Im getting tunneling like crazy a frosted look around the edges almost 2hrs in and im barely getting a good hot throw. Im leaning going back to soywax

    • @thehyaco
      @thehyaco  2 года назад +1

      Sorry to hear about your testing experience so far, I would recommend that you increase your wick size or double wick for that jar (maybe 2 CD2's) to help with the tunneling. In terms of the hot throw, I'm not sure the oils you're using but that can play a part in it or maybe heat the wax up pretty high and then add the fragrance oil so that they bind well and see if that improves that hot throw. I hope that helps!🤎

    I’m testing the C6 now and waiting two weeks to finally light the candle like everyone recommends is too long. It’s been 2 days since I’ve made my test batch. Do you think I’m ok to light it now ??

    • @thehyaco
      @thehyaco  3 года назад

      I would say wait the two weeks, only because you want to test the full potential of the wax/ candles. I totally get wanting to burn it right away but it really does make a difference.

    • @thehyaco
      @thehyaco  3 года назад

      If you’re burning it to just test how fast the wax burns (like the burn time) then I would say go for it! To me it depends on what you’re testing the wax for.

    Im using 9oz jars and looking for measurements for wax and fragrance %. Where can find it? Or could you assist! Also temperature for wax

    • @thehyaco
      @thehyaco  3 года назад

      It depends on the jar you get. So if you get a 9oz jar from candle science, in the product details it will tell you the fill weight and that’s how much wax can fit in the jar comfortably. When you buy your wax it will tell you the fragrance load it can hold (if it say 10%, subtract the 10% of fragrance oil from the fill weight of wax that the jar can hold). The temperature will also be listed in the details on whatever site you get the products from (I go about 5 to 10 degrees over because wax cools quickly and you would still have to stir the oil in). I hope this helps but feel free to ask anymore questions!

      Yes, you can use a heat gun on top as needed. It should be good after that. Sometimes bubbles will rise to the top while cooling but I just pop them so that it doesn’t dry with bubbles at the top.
