I have been planning many aspects of this video for nearly 2 years, and this video in specific since last June when Florra the Explora of Bloodscalp was born; I lacked the means of creating this video however until recently.
I have always thought WoW PVP in its purest most entertaining form was the insane 3-shot annihilation of undergeared players by lovely epic clad raiders in the old school PreBC videos of yore and sought to create my own. Despite this, I never got around to it until now. It is suffice to say with inflated HP pools and the introduction of resilience, a video in that style would seem impossible in this day and age, but after spending a few days in the Battlegrounds it became evident I was wrong.
This video contains clips of the highest quality 70 ganking available, I think there is something fascinating in watching the gear gap in effect and witnessing what one geared player can do to another equal leveled player without gear (-if the editing is decent.) I am aware however not everyone is interested in watching scrubs explode over and over so there is of course more to this video than that. Burning a target down as quickly as possible is my offensive play style and with that being said this is not an arena video, there are no 2200 10 minute healspam fights in here as I find such videos neither exciting nor entertaining to watch.

That beng said this video is not meant as a testament of skill but a work of entertainment inspired by the PreBC rogue videos of old. I've been working on this for a while so I hope you enjoy it! I know its rather long for some peoples attention spans but I tried to change things up throughout so it never gets too boring :P

Was a solid class iirc. Honestly i didnt raid past Kara/gruul during BC tho. Was a pvp and arena kid.

Mokrah88 Yea I was Goblin Engineer. I think Goblin is better for direct damage kinda stuff, (Rocket Launcher! bombs etc) but Gnomish had a bunch of weird cool shit that can also be usefil in PvP. I think they both can get Catseye Ultra Goggles which were a great antirogue tool. sort of up to you, my pref was Goblin though.
Allright. I found out that for the most things it doesn't matter what spec you are.
So I guess I'll go for that awesome rocketlauncher.

+Zeratu CS GO It would cast Deadly throw if I had combo points, otherwise just a regular throw attack. I can't remember the exact macro but something along the lines of "/cast Deadlythrow /cast Throw" I think.

What's the energy tick addon called?
+F1ngret Tick. No idea if it is still around as this video is 7 years old. Not to mention they changed rogue energy awhile ago, so the addon is pretty much irrelevant. Energy doesn't come in 20 energy increments anymore, it's a constant steadily raising thing now.

Was not as good as combat what with higher hp pools, resilience, and the need for sustained damage in arena iirc.

+Felipe Freire It's been almost 10 years so i cant really remember the details of the gems, but i show my gear at 5:40 ^^ it was all just s3 gear and off pieces though.

+Felipe Freire Dunno the talents, other than I was AR/Prep and Combat Maces for most of the video. The talents are totally different now anyway unless you are on a private server. Maces were king for mace stun proc from Mace Mastery.

Yeah I know this was 8 years ago but I'm actually on a private TBC server so I'm aware of all the stuff in the xpac and I was just searching rogue footage cuz thats what im playing, and also the charge stun is like the same length of a GCD. Wasnt worth a trinket but thats just me.

I know. I just dont know why I'm supposed to care. That was basically the point of the video. Back when the game wasn't "everyone is equal!!!!" Getting the top gear and steamrolling people was kind of the best part.
WoW is completely communist now. No PvP gear, only item level matters now and even then its only a slight damage boost. PvP participation is at an all time low because there is no point in queueing unless you're at gladiator level. The best time I had in WoW was being fully geared at the end of an expansion/season and just crushing everybody with a pocket healer and full consumables. Twinking is dead, and classes lost most of their utility and are down to a 3 button rotation. I want my game back.
