Ellefson has to be the most down to earth guy in metal today. An absolute legend.

@@guitarfocus Do a million things the right way = nobody cares. Make a poor choice & the last 30 years of your reputation goes out the window. Big deal, who cares? So he jacked his unit talking to some younger woman. That's what 90% of married older guys do so get over it. Everyone has a past - what secrets are you holding onto where if your work, friends or family found out you'd be embarrassed? Right.

The last time I saw King's X (2008 Tempe, AZ) Dave Ellefson and his wife were directly behind me at the barricade, rocking out.

Mothfist Im 15 and saw kings X for the first time at the arcada theater last year in summer, from the third row! Great show!

Our kids were the ones that Ron Onesti took up on stage right before that show. We've seen dozens of shows all over the country and I can tell you from experience that you saw more than merely a 'great show' that night. I've never before seen so many people stagger out of a show, completely stunned at what they just saw. First rate show by a first rate band.

Doug says he can't solo, and yet his soloing sounds as simply soulful as his singing. You can totally tell he's a singing bassist.

I remember catching X back in '04 in Pittsburgh...phenomenal show...best three-piece next to Rush when it comes to a no-bullshit setup. Met Doug, Jerry, and Ty afterwards, and they were super cool.

dUg’s face at 0:32 when he says “I WANT IT”, you can really feel how youthful he is even though he’s past that, Really goes to show how you never really grow up, you just adapt.

I could imagine King's X doing Over My Head with the church choir and the whole audience doing the church triple clap in rhythm... another band that does stuff like that is Nanowar of Steel, for their song Vajhallelujah. The only real difference is that they do it for laughs, but they're still hugely tslented.

I like that left handed bass. I'm a lefty. It's hard to find a decent inexpensive left handed bass. I'm not professional, so I dont want to spend big money on a instrument.

Ellefson said the band “split up.”
    😂
Um, no dude; Mustaine continued without you.
    😂
Megadeth is Mustaine, alone. Eleffson & any other musicians are just stand-ins.
