Yea the nether reactor was such a cool thing ngl, you build this construction with golden blocks and cobblestone and then creates this netherbox with loot inside of it, remember playing 0.10.0 back then

i dont understand why mojang doesnt just add path traced audio. this would solve both pistons and minecart audio issues since you wouldnt be able to hear them through solid blocks. it would also solve the age old struggle of hearing zombies through walls
i like the og sound of the pistion though agree it did need turned down some. i love being able to take passangers through nether portals makes moving long distances mush easier. ok, didn't get the jukbox thing. the deep dark coming through to trial chambers. i haven't got to check out the 15 year old. haven't had time to play but claimed it and the 3 capes and getting the daily gifts that you can claim past days of. and know to add the -s putting in the code. i foud on that first 2 rounds. i'm not sure if i got the cherryblossom cape
Couldn't you make a wither based farm that would break the portal 1 tick after it spawns. This way there would only be a 2 tick timeframe between portals generating since on the first tick the portal would generate and on the second it would be broken by wither/withers. Wouldn't that let you make 140 obsidian a second with a single portal?
For the portal change concerning entities spawning the other side of portals, would this mean that end portal obsidian farming would be much easier as the player doesn’t need to enter and leave the end to regen the obsidian entry platform?
This definitely helps for some things, but wouldn't this break farms that use ghasts in minecarts or any mob in a boat to push mobs out of nether portals? I suppose you can just fix this by update suppressing and removing the bottom obsidian, but boats are so much easier
Isn’t the change that lets entities create new portals revolutionary for portal based obsidian farms? Before you would have to have the player going through on a loop with withers breaking the obsidian now you don’t need the player there and can do it with just an entity
I have a concrete factory that makes it impossible to build a good obi farm using the end platform and I have builds that get in the way of an end pillar farm. For my last project it took fourteen hours of afking to get the obi I needed because my gold farm can’t keep up with my piglin bartering farm. The obsidian was for a 850k nether perimeter gold farm.
With a non player reliant portal based farm you would also be able to have as many as you want with the only limit being computer specs and any portal linking issues

Why is the tiktok Cape fucking care about region so dumb. No one in my region is live on tiktok playing minecraft and I don't want to go pay for a VPN Update even more stupid. I was finally able to find a live account to claim the code. But had to wait 3min to claim it and it wasn't even in my region. It was I assume South American given they were speaking Spanish. I'm not in south America even remotely.
I dont get why everyone is saying that they fixed the riding entitys can enter a portal thing, like the gamerule is default on false so setting it to true isnt vanilla right? They didnt fix it they just gave you the option :/ at that point you also could just use mods

The functionality IS now there in the game, but since there are several redstone farms that use the old functionality, they can't make it the default without ticking off a vocal part of the community (especially not with the Raid Farm nerfs they introduced earlier this Snapshot cycle). And isn't the point of _having_ a default the fact that you can change it to make _your_ world more of your own? It's why they let you input your own seed; it's why they're making more aspects of the game (paintings, music discs, armor trims, etc.) data-driven and more customizable; and it's why they let you change the gamerules without activating cheats (On Java, at least; Bedrock has some of them locked behind cheats, but that's moreso because the achievements give you points on Xbox, and they don't want you cheating _that_ system).

While I myself would benefit the most from it being set to true by default because it’s just more logical imo, it is a portal shouldn’t it be weird if a entity with a entity riding it cant enter it? I also hate that if I move villagers I have to slay the boat and then go trough the portal that takes like 5 seconds and then the villager is potentially dead because he walked of or something, then I need to make a border.. It’s just a hassle.

If it's in the base game, then it's vanilla, plain and simple. That's what "vanilla" means in this context. Also, for the villager moving thing, I always make cobblestone bunkers around my portals, so I wouldn't need to worry about the Villagers wandering off, but if it's such an issue, you could always just put another boat/minecart on the other side to intercept the villager.
the piston sound was obviously a joke since they also changed the recipe of a piston to have a raw cod as the middle piece of wood to craft and the sound was the fish flopping sound.
I'm really upset that they reverted the piston sounds. The new sounds were great! Mojang needs to have more faith in their own abilities and stop bowing down to the vocal minority of Minecraft conservatives.

When you create a world, you get the option to set your gamerules, regardless of whether cheats are on or off.
