August Burns Red is my favorite band of all time and Matt Greiner is truly a world class drummer. I've been listening to these guys for the past ten years and have never been disappointed by their music or their shows. I'm an atheist myself, but it was great to watch your reaction and hear what you had to say. Seeing your reactions made me feel like I was listening for the first time again. You guys should totally revisit this band, you won't regret it. Great video.
Same here. Also an Atheist but ABR is the GOAT in my opinion. Seen them live a couple of times and they never disappoint! Also some of the most humble and nicest guys you'll ever meet!

One of my favorite bands from my home state of Pennsylvania. When someone asks me what PA is known for, I always joke and say August Burns Red, lol. These guys are incredible. Matt is one of the best drummers in the business today. The guitar players are phenomenal as well. As you experienced, sometimes they throw in a little different genre of music into the mix. They even have a couple of Christmas albums as well and even do a show around Christmas playing nothing but the Christmas music. They just did the theme to Zelda as well. I hope you have the chance to check out the rest of their stuff and make sure to do some windmills and kicks at the show for me.
This band has the ability to bring me to tears with soo many of their songs! So powerful!

The lyrics and the post-bridge section hit me like a train the first time I listened to that song, wow. Absolutely the best closing track they've ever written in my opinion, and very far up on the list of their best songs overall

Absolutely love watching these two dudes react to music together. Makes me wish I was able to do this with my pops, making good memories and listening to good metal. Win-win.
I work with a few people who have a pretty severe stuttering problem. I can definitely see the frustration of them sometimes when they can't say a word for up to 5-8 seconds. The beautiful thing to watch, though, is being a conference room full of people seeing their pain, being patient, and supporting them by making them feel like they are normal, since that's exactly what they are. Thank you for this video. The last 2 vids are such encouraging vids. It gave me a conviction to always keep others in mind. I think that's a big thing that many people struggle with today, especially when "self" is getting shoved down our throats. Thank you for providing something refreshing. Keep up the great work and ministry. The jewels in your crown are continuing to add up....

I remember watching Matt the drummer progress in local legion shows he is totally blessed and has worked very hard to achieve his level of skill. By the end of a show he is pouring sweat and actually inspired me to learn drums u.fortunately I had to skill in it.

Seen them twice in montreal and once in quebec, they were really amazing they definately stood out from all the other bands i saw live
They put on a great show, and are terrific guys. Saw them in Memphis, TN for the Phantom Anthem tour. Each album is a different style of metal, so you have to listen to them all. Angry Music for Happy People.

I'd be interested in hearing a reaction to Twenty-One Grams found off the same album. It's a song about questioning your faith and wondering whether everything you have come to believe will be there when you die. I'd love to hear your take on that.
EDIT: Also, God Went North by Nothing More. It's an emotionally powerful and beautiful song about the singer losing his mother to cancer, his strained relation with God, and his mother's devotion to Him.

This album is what got me religiously into metal. This album is just brilliant with each song having a nice and unique interlude. Definitely one of the bangers I listen to on the daily.

ABR is my absolute favorite band. I’ve seen them live close to 30 times probably at this point. This July I’ll actually be seeing them on my birthday! I highly recommend ALL of their albums.

I always found it interesting how so many ABR fans aren't even religious yet they still enjoy the music and are able to get a message that may help them in life from the lyrics. I think it's because their music isn't overly "preachy." It helps in reaching out to those who aren't religious. Of course it helps that they're just in general an amazing band. I love going to their shows every Christmas when they come home to Lancaster, PA.
The best part of ABR is that their live show only makes you a bigger fan of an absolutely amazing band.

The vibe at ABR shows is just fun, everyone is having a good time and the pit is going crazy, but its a more chill vibe. Everyone is there not to kill each other but to truly enjoy the experience
