Can’t be one concert. If you watch at 1:43 he has the micro in the one hand and the next second in the other. If he isn’t Flash or Quicksilver it’s not possible this fast.
God did a real number on these gents. What a fantastic group of guys with real heartwarming lyrics and just amazing musical talent. God bless these guys!
If you hear voices in your head, you need psychiatric help. It's not god, its a mental health issue please seek help immediately. If that's what you think Jake is doing, listening to some voice in his head then you are as insane as you are presenting him. Best case scenario he's positively using a form of insanity to create music.
I've always kind of like August Burns Red but appreciated their talent. This album has raised metalcore to new heights. Not a weak song on the album. Absolutely amazing. One of the strongest songs on a great album.
Found in far away places is a great album, but I still like rescue and restore better. That album is a masterpiece, and in my opinion is the album that really separates them from every other metal core band.
The way they switch up styles around 2:10 and it doesn't feel awkward or out of place is just incredible! They do this in so many other songs as well and I love it everytime!
This is the greatest band of all time and they have really helped me in my struggle with alcoholism. I haven’t beat my mistakes, but I’m still working on myself. Addiction is so tough. Even when I think I’ve beaten it, it can come back like a titlewave.
I love the whole rhythm change, it reminds me almost of bluegrass or something, then it goes back to normal and melts your face off!! Keep it up, guys!
This is the flag-ship song for the new album and what a great song! The evocation of the Italian-western Ennio Morricone-like music score for the interlude is overpowering! And the band is kicking-up more dust than a Clint Eastwood western!
A masterly work that evokes all the atmosphere and dramatic intensity of the Ennio Morricone scored films of Sergio Leone! This would make the day of Clint Eastwood!
I can suggest some good ones. Fit For a King, For Today, Wolves at the Gate, Memphis Mayfire, As I Lay Dying, Wage war, Underoath. Just a couple I like, chances are you've heard of some of them. :)
I've got most of those bands but I'm more interested in melodic metal, maybe like Demon Hunter and Trivium though they are not Christian, I'm kind of looking for a Christian Trivium :P- MYST1CALPANDA2
I have 3 favorite metalcore bands : august burns red , architects and breakdown of sanity all of them can't make shit songs these dudes know how to write and make good music !
Come on all you "HIGH PLAINS DRIFTERS" grab a "FIST-FULL OF DOLLARS" get on a horse and ride the "GLORY ROAD-2the-MOTHER LODE".....There is gold on this here stage,.......these dudes are kickin' up more dust than a Arizona dust storm!
I agree, i feel like Brent is the most underrated band member in my opinion, just because he's rhythm guitar. And, he is one of the founders of the band, so I don't understand, and in my opinion, he's just as good as JB.
Brent and Matt are the main lyric writers of the band. Plus, rhythm guitar in ABR is NOT easy, especially in Messengers; although rhythm in BTBAM and Cattle Decapitation are already in another level together.
ABR will always be the true Kings of metal core. I’ll be honest I’ve been jamming to wage war more than ABR recently but when you switch back to the KINGS of metal core.. (ABR) lol, you can hear the SUPERIOR talent they truly have compared to all the other bands in my opinion.
☢ ϻεтᴧʟʟıʗ ϻεтᴧʟʟεԇ ☠ You should check them out. Here are a few songs to definitely look at. Panic Room, The Well, Psychescape, First Father, Native Blood, Tiny Hands, Wasteland, No Place to Breathe, Inherit the Earth, and Orphan. Their entire discography is amazing, but those are their best in my opinion. Their newest album is a strong contender for album of the year for a lot of people.
Heard one of their songs in a spencers today, asked who was playing, told me these guys name. Haven't found the song yet. Liked it because the singer, at least in the store, reminded me of Howard Jones from Devil You Know(previously Killswitch Engage and Blood Has Been Shed). The band reminded me a bit of blood has been shed as well. Listening to them with good headphones, their newer stuff sounds nothing what I heard and the singer sounds nothing like Jones... Still a cool band to discover.
I've been listening to them since Constellations. If you listen throught all their discography you'll hear a clear progression to a more melodic kind of metalcore, without losing technique nor the aggressive style that Killswitch and many bands that used to make Metalcore-like music lost over time. Still, my favorite disc is Constellations, because of Meddler and Mariana's Trench
LordKiser the screamers technique has changed a lot it seems. Not necessarily bad, but I liked the Howard Jones sounding scream. Thankfully Howard is still around and making new with Devil You Know.
circumstantial hope isn't really hope at all it's just a watered down distraction from what stands In our way. it gives us he ability to face reality. the ability to see through it all!
What a brilliant placement of the Italian western-like music score for the intermezzo! I think you should serve a plate of delicious spaghetti for this interlude. Clint Eastwood would pay a "Few Dollars More" for a ticket! In any case, what a great video!......METAL-4the-CORE!......GREEN LIGHTS ALL WAY!
....did I just hear bluegrass integrated into metal? Even more astounding, did it actually sound good? What is this sorcery
You're gonna flip when you listen to Between the Buried and Me :P
Can’t be one concert. If you watch at 1:43 he has the micro in the one hand and the next second in the other. If he isn’t Flash or Quicksilver it’s not possible this fast.
Or flip when you hear Twelve Foot Ninja lol.
@@justinpuhl2881 yeah, must have taken a serious detective talent to figure that out since his outfit changed only like 6 times :D

god didn't do shit. it was all hard work and dedication
mordi fardin Lol, tell Jake that, brother and see what he has to say. Love ya, man. Peace out

I've always kind of like August Burns Red but appreciated their talent.
This album has raised metalcore to new heights. Not a weak song on the album. Absolutely amazing. One of the strongest songs on a great album.
truthlesshunter Inadvertently they are exposing all the generic bands clogging up the genre, which is great.
Found in far away places is a great album, but I still like rescue and restore better. That album is a masterpiece, and in my opinion is the album that really separates them from every other metal core band.
I agree Ben. Rescue and Restore seems to be incredibly underrated.
truthlesshunter I think constellations is a masterpiece, but that's just me
6 years later and this is still one of the best metalcore albums out there and my favorite ABR record.
amazing band, found in far away places is redefining metalcore
they rescued and restored it :D
I like the constellation of your words :D
They really are great Messengers.
They are the Leveler of the metalcore genre
A bunch of Thrill Seekers, that's what they are :D
Motivational Metal.
10/10
The way they switch up styles around 2:10 and it doesn't feel awkward or out of place is just incredible! They do this in so many other songs as well and I love it everytime!
Jake has the best dance moves =D
He was dancing like tango or something hahahah
Adrian fitty had the best moves of all time
Pre-salsa???
This band can do no wrong, in my eyes!
This is the greatest band of all time and they have really helped me in my struggle with alcoholism. I haven’t beat my mistakes, but I’m still working on myself. Addiction is so tough. Even when I think I’ve beaten it, it can come back like a titlewave.
One of the best ABR songs ever hands down don't give a f*** what you say one of the best
And the band is kicking-up more dust than a Clint Eastwood western!
best band on the planet
I've inadvertently been on a personal 1-year ABR hiatus, just now digging back into their stuff.
Nothing has changed. They still whup metal ass.
I love the blue grass solo in the middle of the song
I normally dont listen to these guys but this made the song for me.
Not a person I know will give this music a chance. Guess I'll keep rocking on my own 🤘
Yeah they just keep on listening to their rap trash pop music
ABR is such a talented band, I love the guitar parts in this song.
God I would love to play alongside these guys. just so true and so much inspiration in all their music
A masterly work that evokes all the atmosphere and dramatic intensity of the Ennio Morricone scored films of Sergio Leone! This would make the day of Clint Eastwood!
Been searching for some new Christian metal bands but ABR only get better every time I listen to them..
I can suggest some good ones. Fit For a King, For Today, Wolves at the Gate, Memphis Mayfire, As I Lay Dying, Wage war, Underoath. Just a couple I like, chances are you've heard of some of them. :)
^rip for today :(
What happened to for today
what is the different of Christian metal and others metal?
I've got most of those bands but I'm more interested in melodic metal, maybe like Demon Hunter and Trivium though they are not Christian, I'm kind of looking for a Christian Trivium :P- MYST1CALPANDA2
I just broke up with my wife and this song cheer me up!!! thank you august!!!!
after a decade these guys remain the best metal band
That bluegrass section at 2:10 is literally the best thing ever lol
*western*
This song helped me through some rough times. Thank you, ABR

Seen them twice ,amazing every time 👌

Far4h you mean "amazing both times?"
Man the colorado show with them and Erra is sold out, I'm absolutely crushed.
Been here since as long as I can remember! Love from Shillong! ❤
Best song on the album by far 👌
This has to be one of their best songs
This whole album is just on another level.
@@Wernershnitzl This and Rescue and Restore are bone chilling

Seeing them dancing is so cool. Love this song so much !

Great lyrics and riffs, vocals 👌drums 😊bass and electrics 😉
I have 3 favorite metalcore bands : august burns red , architects and breakdown of sanity all of them can't make shit songs these dudes know how to write and make good music !
Breakdown of Sanity is meh. But I could definitely agree with Architects and ABR!
BlackWarLion dont forget about make them suffer
BlackWarLion can I add Oh, Sleeper to your list?
Vilehell and Make Them Suffer is pretty generic
Well someone has not looked at Wage War:)
Absolutely amazing. Perfection.

One of my favorite videos from them

Most likely a bot.

So great live
Genre hopping in metal songs takes extreme talent to make sound good
These guys have mastered it
Wow ! :D Loving their new sound and the message they are spreading with this one !

So sick!!
I hope one day they make a movie about this band like they did Queen 🤘
It's no movie but they are in a documentary about the Lancaster County metalcore scene called Barn Burner, and it's great.
Even better live!
