"But I keep thinking, I know why. The woman. And I've been thinking about it my whole life. Why's she here? And I think, at the end, I have hope. Because that's very you, isn't it? My old friend. This story had an atmosphere that really resonated with me, and I hope to have done justice to not only recreating Murray Gold's cues, but including a number of original arrangements based on the themes he's established.....! Thank you so much to all the artists involved in this one; some absolutely stunning work from Bandaalarga, Oliver Chenery, Joe Cook, SoundSmyth, PlumPudding, Owen Ruthven, Arbrax, Shay Brown, Dani Kennedy and Rafe Wallbank. Please do check out all of their work! Much like The Woman, you might find these suites become Semper Distans soon due to my full time education. When academia relaxes though, I'll do my best to cover as much of the remaining stories as I can... but expect the odd short upload if I can manage it! #DoctorWho
@@CobaltXMusicAs in the vocal library? Melody wise that’s a part of Ruby’s theme (notably from the end of Empire of Death) - sample wise, I think it’s the freebie from Embertone’s Arcane?
9:15 I got genuine shivers, what an amazing variation of Turn Left!! I wish this style of eerie music could make a return in the show. It worked so well with 9/10s theme and I would love to see Gold apply the same effect to 15s theme, transforming it from a charming energetic theme to something almost uncanny and somber. Amazing work and recreation as always 😃
Oh, this is absolutely wonderful! It's a piece I really wish we get if an official soundtrack becomes a reality, but that rendition of 'Get Off The Pitch' and 'The Overthrow of Roger Ap Gwilliam' is just- wow! 😍✨
Thank you so much for making these. Seriously, I think Murray Gold should hire you do work on the actual soundtrack releases since he doesn't seem to have the time to do them himself.
You should do more popular songs as themed covers. Creep by Radiohead as unearthly was very good. What will you do with Pokerface and bad guy in Rogue, I wonder? Obviously, they will probably be orchestral, but maybe you might put a spin on it? I can’t wait for the next cover.
@@Ludecris Yup, I try to avoid making these 1:1 replications of the entire soundtrack so in this case I opted to do my own spin with Creep rather than using ‘Watch Me’ by Labi Siffre - thankfully that song is available to listen to already 😅
Hiya! That wasn’t in the episode, I make these suites with a mix of the episode’s score recreated alongside my own inclusions, and Creep was one of the latter. Sorry for the confusion!

One of the best hours of television I’ve ever seen.
Here we go, perfect for my drive!
Nice man! Safe driving 🙏
Ive been looking forward this for ages! AGES!!! Magnificent work
Your 'Fifteen' track actually needs to be used in the show it is SO GOOD
I love how turn left sounds just a bit like 28 days later’s theme
Fantastic score for a fantastic story, brilliant work from everyone - loved the Creep rendition!
Holy shit that rendition of Creep! I wish we have stuff like this in the show, similar to how running up that hill was remixed in Stranger Things

This is insane 😮 I love it ❤
Awesome vid
Another perfect arrangement to such a beautiful story.
I wonder what you think of 73 Yards.
I loved it!
I've been waiting for this one!
As per usual, it did not dissapoint!
❤❤❤
I just noticed that the ageing sequence’s music is missing. Ah well, you can’t have everything. 🤷♀️

Does Pottering actually have the turn left elements or something you added?
@@andrewfuller3319 that’s all me! If you look through the description, the titles with a * at the end are original/not from the episode
I can't wate for dot and bubble
Would you ever be able to put these on Spotify?
I tend to stick to just RUclips I'm afraid, but you can download the mp3/wav files for free over on my Ko-Fi if that helps with easier listening!
