This reminds me of something I saw in a old comedic movie from Norway. It was a movie from a series called Olsenbanden. They used LEGO to climb stairs and even unlock a door, in order to complete a robbery😅
You need to be able to move the middle motors independently. The wheel motors could theoretically be connected, but in this case it's hard to archieve because of the variable height difference.
While it is theoretically possible, it would introduce insane complexity to the build. In the end, you'd end up with an unreliable, heavy vehicle that would be difficult to lift. Simplicity is key on many builds
I watched this because I couldn't see how the design in the thumbnail would be able to handle stairs, but you never even had it go up stairs. One step is not stairs. I feel clickbaited.
It’s a proof of concept, I don’t think it was intended to be a full scale thing. The point is that with a design similar to this one but on a larger scale, a lego car could indeed climb regular stairs.
Finally someone made it with power functions
An inspiration for the brick experiment channel and for brick technology

Good Video as always, love your vids. also would love to see something with magnets, like make something levitate
This is pretty damn cool
Such a good idea! You're very creative. I really enjoy your videos 😉
I've thought about this sometimes. I just didn't know how to do it.
Thanks, great video! 🎉
*me who order all the pieces shown at the beginning and then forgets what i got them for*
Wait... You could just make the M motors higher up and make the vehicle wider and it could crawl up traditional stairs!
mindstorms: am i a joke to you?
ok very cool video. nice editing, functionality and overall very nice and enjoyable to watch
saw the one stair climbing tank lol that one was pretty nice
Could you make it with air engines of LEGO?
Showcase the 4:27
very nice, but why are you flipping off a lego piece at 3:20?
Maybe you should connect the two middle motors, or even just use one motor

Here’s an old design from a Danish movie from 1979: ruclips.net/video/3HJHhA2fsoQ/видео.htmlsi=CMsOZCuCaN7cSgNr 😊
how about something like this with steerable wheels
I think the best approach to that would be another axle in the middle that turns the entire front/back part
My knowledge of Lego tech is incomparable😅
Delicious 😋
2in1 Bricking HI my fellow Lego builder how u doing can I get a pin also still till today I love ur videos they're the best and I MEAN THE BEST

Imagine if this was all out of the scaled up child Legos, LMAO
Scale it up so it’s 1:1 with Duplo you mean?
This would be a lot more enjoyable without the music tbh ❤
Also I can't type in live chat again
Lego can go down stairs verey easyly

Me too

In theory and with some mods if definitely could
That's what proof of concept means. No clockbait here chief
@@JavierSalcedoC Technically you’re right, but the clickbait comes from the fact that the title asks the question “Can a Lego Car Climb Stairs?”
Third
Some guy asked to get pinned so can you pin me instead to annoy him?
imagine clickbaiting
