last one is quite litteraly a Tank Gearbox :D
The third one is used in many tracked vehicles actually.
The first one could also have the direction of one of the sets of little wheels reversed, so when they're down it turns and when they're up it moves forwards or backwards. That might be more convenient and intuitive.
