I had trouble sliding the coffee filter basket back in easy to pull out not easy to get back in. Is there a easy way to do this

what happened? my comment disappeared. ANYWAY, after a few months the brewer shorts me. I only get 10 cups when pressing 12, 8 when pressing 10, etc. I think the cup side may also brew an ounce short but I did not do a before and after observation. Doing water only brews and white vinegar brews did nothing to help. The carafe in the video seems a bit shy of 12 also. It is almost impossible to pour from the carafe without dribbling a good bit down the side onto the counter. I am not happy with it and would not buy again. I will keep it and manage around its foibles bc I dropped a buck thirty on it at Walmart!
Have you descale it?
I only learned from your thread or a different one last night that descaling instructions have to be downloaded!! I did run a couple of cycles of white vinegar through with no results.

I have a question regarding the carafe. If I would like 3-4 cups of coffee, is it possible to click on 8 cups of coffee and then stop it from brewing the rest once I hit the amount of coffee I need?
Do you need to clean it before use? The one I have will turn on and then hear it go walk away then it turns off.

Great Video. I just bought one & I think I might have an issue with it. When lifting da lid up, I can see da vent tube through da top crack/opening, but it doesn't have da black tip on it. I think it is preventing me from opening da lid all da way. I havent used it yet, need coffee pods but ran a cycle without da pod to rinse da internal part of it like recommended & experienced nothing bad. But seeing that vent tube is freaking me out. Will buy some pods tomorrow & will see what happens. Thanks again for da video. 👍

Well, mine still works. On da k-pods side, there is a filter cup, shaped like a k-pod, that I had to remove in order for me to be able to put a K-pod in it. That's what was preventing me from putting a k-pod in properly & not being able to close it. Hope this helps.
@@mistermichael9753 thank you for responding! Mine works but I have the same issue with the extra tube. It makes it more difficult to open the k-pod lid all the way up. Also, I can see it when I lift the handle and it looks odd! Don't suppose you cut it shorter did you?!
No. I just left it alone. As long as it works. U can always exchange it if still able to. I think that tube is for da coffee pot side. I have done a few pots with no issues so hopefully urs has no issues also. Are u able to use da k-pod?
@@mistermichael9753 Yes I can use both sides it is just more of an "annoys me" thing! I was just curious if all the 2024 ones do this as my older one didn't.

Super late but yes. My family and I use it for teas.
I wouldn’t use it for tea, needs to be at a boiling point
