- In this video I show you how to fix messed up or damaged buttons/ analog sticks . I have used this method multiple times on different ps4 controllers and it works most of the time.

I just said "fuck it" and used some alcohol or hand sanitizer, a needle, and some wet paper towel and just cleaned the small spaces

Holy shit even 2 years later, you're helping us fix our controllers. I had a controller that had no directional movement in the analogs and arrows, even the triggers/bumpers didn't respond. It was like this for more than a year, and I just forgot about it.
Im not gonna lie, I was skeptical about this fix because I felt like I've done all these little remedies, and that this would just make it worse and ultimately put it out of it's misery. So I gave it a final shot. After spamming every button a minute each, it just started working again, like brand new.
Idc that I wrote this much, it was such a huge relief, considering how many controllers I've bought and they never lasted. So I just want to say thank you for giving me the inspiration to try at it again, and helping me fix my controller.

Big thank you! I made 3 tries. Last try it worked! Total of 3-min rough pressing. Button is square. Maybe due to dust and other elements on the button. I was about to order online. Saved money on this tutorial.

guys, it works if your controller's internals aren't actually broken. i thought my square button was f-ed, but after mashing it for like 30 seconds like the video says, it works again. saved me some $$ so i'm gonna say this method does work IF your controller's internals are still intact.

From where I am I would have to spend 78.48$ But I just put the controller apart then cleaned it.
Omg this works!! My controller is completely broken now 😃👍 it only took 2 tries and all under 1 minute. My new controller will be perfect once it Gets here because I had to order it since absolutely no store within 100 miles has one in stock

lolwas playing some games til my X button stopped working and start researching for a FIX came to this and was very skeptical was gonna leave on the when i saw what you did then i tried and its kinda amazing how it did fix my x button back, could be some dirt blocking the contacts.
So spamming the button with other buttons? Or just spam the broken button alone?

it works, not completely fixed analog stick drift issue, it’s reduced the drifting but not completely so i think ill just buy a new, if u have any other “solutions” then just reply to my comment ur “solution”.
