Nice video, but you failed to give a precise explanation of what parametric design is, its definition, you mostly just outlined examples of it in architecture.
"Parametric design is a design method in which features, such as building elements and engineering components, are shaped based on algorithmic processes rather than direct manipulation. In this approach, parameters and rules establish the relationship between design intent and design response. The term parametric refers to the input parameters that are fed into the algorithms.
For example, a designer could create a parametric model of a building in which the size and shape of the windows are linked to the amount of sunlight that the building receives. By changing the value of the sunlight parameter, the designer could see how the size and shape of the windows would change to optimize the amount of natural light in the building.
Parametric design offers a number of advantages over traditional design methods. First, it allows designers to explore a wider range of design options more quickly and easily. Second, it helps to ensure that designs are more consistent and that changes to one part of a design will not have unintended consequences for other parts of the design. Third, it can help to improve the efficiency of the design process by automating repetitive tasks.
Parametric design is used in a wide range of industries, including architecture, engineering, machine learning, differential systems, bioengineering, product design, fashion design etc."
Segment from 3:10 is a good visual representation of a modular parametric flow that adjusts in real time, based on the change in the input parameters.

Thank you for your feedback! We apologize for not diving deeper into the definition of parametric design in the video. We'll make sure to include a more precise explanation in future videos.
