​@@percy.garou1001 there are 3 paths you can take after you graduated from architecture these are; Sole proprietorship, which means you are your own and will earn you a lot of money. The downside is you will have a lot of competition. Partnership, you will work with another architect and you will divide both of your income evenly. Corporate, you will join a corporation and will work in a group. Even tho this will lessen the competition you will earn a little income. The video is the perfect example of this. This is my experience. At fist I thought architecture was all about aesthetics, I was wrong. I was also surprised that Architecture was one of the top 5 hardest courses around the world. And it was truly hard, this course includes engineering subjects(structural, sanitary and electrical), environmental planning and urban/city planning. You also needed to consider a lot of things like the environment and the climate. Ironically, I'm more comfortable with my engineering subjects than my major subjects mainly because it mainly focuses on computation and requires a little bit of drawing while my major subjects requires a lot drawings and sometimes even with computations. You need to memorize the building codes and also the laws. When designing a plan of building, the common dilemma that I encounter is balancing the aesthetic and function of a structure, sometimes I even give up on the aesthetic and mainly focus on the function because it is more important. I experienced not getting enough sleep for days just because of one project. This course requires a lot of efforts because you will do everything, that includes the architectural plan, structural plan, plumbing/sanitation plan , and electrical plan. If you want to become a architecture, I recommend going to colleges who uses the UK system because it offers 3 meanwhile the American system requires you to study for 5 years. But it can be different in your country.
