- In this video we will see how to make vazhakkai poriyal recipe in tamil. In this recipe we can make a perfect side dish / kootu with raw banana (green banana). The small pieces of banana are perfectly roasted and have a nice texture on the out side while being soft inside. Also, adding the coconut brings all the masala and flavoring together and coats the banana pieces.

Ingredients:
2 Raw Banana
1/8 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp oil
8 small Onion
1/2 cup Coconut
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2-3/4 tsp Chilli powder
2 tbsp Oil
1/4 tso Mustard seeds
1 tsp black gram
2 dry red chillies
curry leaves
1/4 tsp pepper
required Salt

I Tried akka supera irunduchu.. skl la lunch ku frns inda taste la kondu vandhu saaptruken.. after ages na iniki try pana same taste, unexpected! Thanks akka
While sauteing I added crushed garlic.,the taste was amazing and adding garlic to the plantain recipe is healthy as well
