the language is Amazigh, the language of the North Africans, but it is not a translation, this an old and acient style of music of the southern part of the Atlas mountain ppl of Morocco, it resembles the Ethiopian folk songs, but it's stops there, probably because of the similar musical instruments. this type of music in Morocco is huge and has many subgenres, and different styles within it..etc no Moroccan even knows that Ethiopian type of music even exist
Speak for yourself brother you are right our music and ethiopian music and istruments are very similar we share the pentatonic scale.. but I do know and like ethiopian music! For example Tamrat Desta R.i.P My favorite song Hakimenesh.. peace and love to our Habesha brothers and sisters.. btw this song is in our language and the lyrics are about another topic but it is a tribute to the original song.. Btw he made this song after visiting Ethiopia
Proud of our Moroccan amazigh singer " SAID ANAZOUR "
I appreciated Getish mamo , he is an Ethiopian notable musician, his poem and melody has potential to transmit core message, keep upit up ,Getish
Thanks Morocco man!!!
I don't understand the language but it sounds like a perfectly translated song.
