Fascinating to see! I'd only read the report in the Wallechinsky books. Roids were new. I can't blame them for going nuts with them at first. These people still look like great athletes. The competition looks close and fierce. I wish we could see more coverage of these interesting parts of athletics history. Hopefully the IOC will show these races again one day.

Diane Jones .. who came 6 th at these games, use to wear a t-shirts say "100% natural..no additives"... when competing in Europe.

It been proved that the East German women who won all the medals were doped. The size of them. I think Diane Jones of Canada was one of the few was clean.
