- Exploring on a snowy day lead me to a bunch of houses and this beautiful house was one of them. After several failed attempts I was sure this place was inaccessible..thankfully I was wrong
When I pulled up to this house I was in awe at its beauty. The gingerbread, brick work and porch were so nice I could not believe this place was not loved by someone. After entering I found a pristine house with great ceiling angles, tones of rooms, dual staircases and oddly the heat was still on. I could have just moved into this house.
I must note, that MANY people have wondered what the red is in the toilet, and many people are giving really rude comments to those who ask. Please remember that people from all over the world are watching and "antifreeze" in toilets is not an international concept. So, there it is, the red in the toilet is antifreeze to prevent damage.
This house like so many others in the area has been taken over by the government because of "necessary" urban expansion. I could not find much info on the history other than it was built in 1870. I have heard from many saying I should not have explored this house, that entering was wrong of me. What most do not know is almost every house the Government has taken ownership of in this area in the last 10 years has been destroyed to make way for a Highway or an Airport. This house is no different. This house will be laid to waste one day, with no cares of the heritage or history of it. So I do not feel guilty about documenting this beautiful structure.
Thank you for taking the time to watch, please subscribe, like and comment. Follow me on Twitter @ DaaDeeOh
SEPT 2015 UPDATE - I went back to this house and it still stands vacant and alone along with other houses in the area. These are Government dwellings now that sit on or close to future airport land. The will sit vacant like so many others until the are destoryed or hopefully moved. The track record is destroyed...Just thought I would let ya'll know ) - Развлечения
It's too bad that this house couldn't be sold to someone who could fill it with loving memories for family to enjoy for future
Gary Honeybuss Society could`t handle love and kindness.
Arthur Bradley there are some of us that still have old fashioned values, it is sad that more don't.
I love victorian houses. I wish I could live in one.
doesn't look abandoned it looks like it's in good shape like maybe they have it on the market for sale.
Wow this was an absolute beauty and so happy to see one that wasn't destroyed by vandals! I will never understand why people can go in to a place and just totally trash it like I've seen in some videos. Thank you for this one and look forward to more!! :)
Looks newly remodeled. Hell I'd take it.
I love old houses.
Does nobody else find it kind of creepy how the water in the toilet is RED! O_o
Antifreeze most likely
really really nice house. looks as though somebody started a renovation, and ran out of funds. doesn't look like it's been abandoned very long. the heating system, water softener system, and water heater don't look very old. it was unusual to see both sets of stairs, side by side. really great find. thank you for sharing.
I have to agree..Google maps shows cars in the driveway in 2011...
The Victorian era builders really were artisans....their buildings are always so ornate and spectacular and they were built to last....They didn't just throw boxes together the way they do today back then....If you were an engineer or master builder back then you were a somebody.
These houses really should be restored, preserved and saved for historical value....once they're gone they're gone and pictures in books are just not the same. I hope this one has a better fate than most.
That barely even looks abandoned, what a gorgeous house!
What a beautiful house.I think it's so sad that these houses are
standing empty when we have homeless people on the streets
and existing in run down shelters...The house looks well kept
and looked after and would provide a good home for a young
family with children. Why do they continue to throw people out
of houses for falling behind with the bills, when to put them in
shelters costs the tax payer?...For gods sake, work out a payment
plan, give these people some dignity back and let these children
have a permanent roof over their heads!!....
Daadeeoh I just had to come back for another visit of this absolutely exquisite house. It looks like my dream house! I have always wanted a house like this! The Victorians had a certain grandiose way of flaunting their wealth as seen by the splendid brick and wood work. The newel posts on the front porch were built with superb craftsmanship. They stood the test of time. This house looks like it belongs on a picture postcard. So detailed and if that is all the original woodwork it was done by hand with antiquated machinery. It has weathered extremely well. This deserves to be moved and preserved and I hope it does not fall prey to the wrecking ball. It seems that Durham region seems to be changing overnight! It's all the greedy land developers and the government that are to blame. Progress is an evil necessity but at the cost of what? History needs to be preserved not destroyed. Look at all the beautiful century homes being destroyed for the extension of the 407. It makes me so mad and very sad! I am so happy that at least you have recorded and documented your urbex finds! You are absolutely the one to do it. This absolutely one of my favorite urbex videos of yours!
+licksnkicks I couldn't agree with you more. here in santa fe we not only preserve our history--we make money off it---millions of dollars in tourism. people like old things. when are other cities going to learn this? a few--like salem, Williamsburg--but near enough. our buildings are visual history and need to be preserved if at all possible. doesn't sound like durham has a plan in place--no historical society? zoning ordinances? etc, etc????
+licksnkicks go before city council---tell them what you think--sounds like you care---it just takes a commited group of individuals to make change here. what legacy are we leaving for young people? strip malls, spread out out of control sprawl?
The falling snow and the sound of snow crunching under your feet made this video magical! Your written commentary above is the perfect accompaniment, giving us the big picture of the situation there. Without brave souls like you to document abandoned (or government-owned) properties, there would be no way to keep their memory alive. I'm baffled that the heat was still on during your visit if this house is slated to be torn down to make way for an airport. At least you were able to explore in comfort!
What a wonderful compliment Tony, thank you so much, ya made my day! You captured exactly why I do what I do )
The basement really creeps me out for some reason
This is a gorgeous house. I'm saddened to hear that it will very likely be destroyed. Thank you for posting the video.
Thank you Largo for watching!
If this house were in Ireland, it would be LISTED house, meaning it is protected from demolition and saved as national heritage.
i know this video is a bit old just had to say Wow what a beautiful place can't believe someone left it vacant! Looks like the inside was redone recently. What a great find!
The reason I like watching you is bc you don't talk I'm not trying to be mean but other explorers talk so much and it's distracting lol
This house is amazing but I was scared the whole time watching this
Why?
I am glad that you explored it. It has such charm and character. Too many places are destroyed or left to ruin. It's great this gem has been historically documented. Thanks for sharing it!
Spirit Magic I know, this place was amazing! I am happy to share, come back soon!
What a shame they are going to demolish it. I would surely have bought it and fixed it up. It's a beautiful home.
It's a shame alright!
***** Sometimes there's a tangle up with the bank etc. It does happen. NOt sure on this one, I do hope someone has saved it from being demolished.
Wow that has to be the most beautiful "not lived in currently" house video I've ever seen! I sure hope the wrong people don't go there. Thanks for the great tour and have a happy holiday season!
So do I.."The wrong people" is why I never give locations..
What a beautiful house. I love everything about this house, all of the windows, the basement, and what neat staircases side by side. Gorgeous house.
The basement?! Say what?
What's a Walter White basement?
summer fields Watch the tv show Breaking Bad, You will understand his awesome comment xD
Yes, I actually had to know so bad that I Googled Walter White! lol
I think the house had been split into apartments at one time.
i always wonder what the story was as to why such beautiful houses/buildings are abandoned
what those with power call "progress" sadly.
Mhm. That's why it's so intriguing to watch! I'M SO ADDICTED TO abandoned places videos/blogs/anything regarding anyplace left behind. BUT, I could never explore myself. I'd faint from a panic attack. Too scary lmao.
Ty Po I love these vids to. but I to would be scared to visit alone in case I run into any ghosts (lol) or falling through old floors
Mhm, me too!
It's often because they're simply too costly to fix up. I live in a huge Victorian, and it's trying at times.
What a beauty! Our home was built in 1855, with Queen Anne virtues added in 1890. Man, they DON'T built em like this anymore. The quality of craftsmanship, materials & wood, just doesn't exist today. I am happy our home has had only 4 families caring for & loving her, since she was built.
.......People have ask , "Is your house haunted"? Hell no! BUT, when I go, don't think I'm not going to check in, making certain our beloved home is being respected & maintained! LOL.
I enjoy the fact that your exploration videos are sans audible commentary. The written descriptive is perfect and the lack of sound allows me to watch while I work ;))
I'm from eastern Ontario where this style of home is very common to see, especially around the brockville, merrickvile area. Our farm house on Oxford station was similar to this. Built in 1860. They're so beautiful and built so strong yet eery at night lol. I'd have this house purchased in a heartbeat if it's just gonna sit idle
Thanks for the great tour and for allowing the house to be the star. It is refreshing not to have to listen to inane commentary .
Ignore the negative comments and keep filming old houses, please... I love it. I love your video. Hugs from Brazil flying to you.
u got some balls I know that cause I woulda been scared shitless especially going in that basement...
First off this home was not built in 1870, this was my parents home, I grew up in this house, my parents were murdered in this home years ago and was left to me, I could not afford the property taxes so I let the state take it to do as they wish. The house was built in 1955 all by hand by my father and grandfather. Good to see it is standing
Oh Mark, I think you have confused this house with another location. I have researched this property and it was not build in 1955 the historical records are public. . Sorry to hear about your parents though...
*****
was it Pickering Ontario Canada,Durham Region, expropreated lands in Scarboro, parts of UXBRIDGE AND pICKERING, I GREW UP IN THIS TOWN WORKING FOR REMAX first in PICKERING
Think this guy is just going for the shock factor...LIE
Mark Olsen well ok, that was depressing....well assuming the story is true....but, that house doesn't exactly look very1870's Victorian to me, looks a bit more modern than that...does look like something outta the '50's era though...
+peggyt1243. Some houses sure did have central heating back then. We just toured one today built in 1854! Wood furnace was huge in the Basement. Look up Octagon House in Watertown, WI.
Don't let the bad reviews dissuade you from filming these treasured houses. If they didn't like it, they wouldn't be watching these videos. This is an exquisite house. It is terrible the government just bulldozes them to make room for "modern upgrades." My aunt and uncle lost their farm for a highway that is no longer used much because an interstate highway has taken over the volume traffic. Now the land is vacant because the house, barn and storage sheds were razed. I am glad you are out there preserving these places for history. Thank you for doing this seemingly thankless job.
A gracious home not attacked by scrappers and vandals. I love the staircases, breakfast nook and the shape of the doorways and Windows. Thanks for showing it. For those who would wonder, that red water in the toilet probably has to do with protecting the plumbing. I think someone still loves this home.
Wow I want this house . Imagine it brought back to life ... How does this happen house abandoned ? Sad so sad. Great video though xoxo
My thoughts exactly. Who on earth would abandon such a beautiful place? I dream to live in a house like that. (I LOVE the Victorian style. It's to die for)
So good to see a Canadian explorer
What an amazing and beautiful home. I wonder of the memories that were made there. Very sad that it is just wasting away. Thank you for keeping a photo journal of it. Can't wait to see more!
That mansion is big enough to have it's own zip code. Spectacular. Noticed the old gas light fixture on one of the bedroom walls Love this video!
That cellar is to die for. Think of the possibilities. Murder, mayhem, chains, lashings.
I hope you are sarcastic
Daadeeoh, you were right to document a beautiful building. I hate the way our history is destroyed in the name of progress. Cheers from UK.
I've spent the last hour watching your videos, and I'm so glad other people in my area like to explore abandoned places without damaging anything. keep it up!:)
This is the most beautiful house. So sad it is abandoned. Loved the tour. IT almost
beats my Victorian dollhouse. Thank you for your visit and taking us all with you.♥
The ease and speed of your entry seems to indicate you knew exactly where and how to enter this home...
I WANT THIS HOUSE! It's a shame it someday will be gone for "the cause of expansion and progress"!! Thank you for showing it to us! If this isn't a grand example of "government waste" I don't know what is!
What a beautiful historical house! Thanks for documenting this, sure hope it not destroyed. I see no reason what so ever for not documenting this property. This was a great explore and I am glad you did it. You have a great channel and I just became a subscriber!!
+Laura Sentman thank you for your kind words! I am just happy I had the chance to document ... And thank you for subbing !!! )
Thank You -- your taking us to places we can't go . Thanks for sharing 😀❤️
I would move in in a heartbeat. Beautiful home. Too bad expansion is the death of so many of these beautiful homes.
Beautiful. I hope someone comes and buys it before it is lost.
I am new to your channel, but so happy I found it. I have looked at many others but was sold on yours when I saw your kindness by placing that plank of wood in the pool of the one house so that the little creatures could climb out again as opposed to drowning. Thank you for the heads up on the antifreeze in the toilet. As I live in Australia and am in the medical field, I was rather perturbed about the health of the previous occupant until I read your blurb. 😉. This house is/was? beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
I like the no talk. I love to hear all the other noises. The click and squeak of the camera in your hand are my favorites. Almost like a deep underwater explore 😊 The creak of the floors, and crunchy snow also. I half imagined you wearing shiny dress shoes the whole time with the heel clack on the wood floors 😄. Newer sub- you tube recommend. They got it right- thank you for the videos!
Very nice. Have had a few snow days and was thinking about doing an explore on one. Great Video
There is nothing like the crunch of snow heard through the camera my friend :-) Its my favorite time of year for exploring!
***** It really did make for an amazing backdrop. Hell, I love that time of year ANYWAY! :)
What a gorgeous house....
Wow, so beautiful and it made me want to move right in! Gorgeous and not vandalized, which is a beauty all on it's own! Thank you so much!
What a gorgeous house! It looked much bigger on the out side than it was on the inside. It was nice of you to put the Cheerios box back in place. As usual, grate video! I always get excited when I see an email that says, "daadeeoh just uploaded a video" I should be in bed right now but I knew I couldn't sleep with out watching this first. I can sleep sound now, thank you!
I thought the same thing...Thanks you for watching my vids :-) I am happy to share!
Beautiful architecture inside and out. The double staircase is odd though.
why is abandoned this beautiful and incredible house?
Its haunted.
Probably, the house is in Ontario, seems to be in good shape, but I felt an eerie feeling as he walked through. I loved the cardboard of HoneyNut Cheerios substituting for a window... That was antifreeze in the toilet maybe from preventing the pipes from freezing and then flooding.
awesome vidso, keep it up
Thank you ! 👍👍
What a beautiful house! It kind of reminded me of a gingerbread house from a fairy tale. The inside was beautiful as well. What odd stair cases. It's great that no vandals have gotten to it. Great video and enjoyed!! Thanks for sharing!:)
Lovely home, I am sure a lot of these homes have a story to tell. Tyvm for posting :)
Thank you for sharing this fabulous house. Is it Durham in the UK???? My mother grew up in a similar house in Liverpool so as soon as you walked into the house I felt at home. Why do they pull them down, can't they leave them and build around them? You often see suburbs with new and old houses together and it gives the place charm. UrbanTown Planners in the UK are responsible for destroying many fine houses, manors and mansions Such a shame! Thanks again.
i think its in america, however i was hoping its in the uk as im from durham uk :D
Dov Yair ***** It's probably Durham Ontario Canada rather than the US. Durham NC USA probably doesnt get a ton of snow. A lot (and I do mean a lot) of farm houses in southern ontario have this style. One at practically every concession. Although this one has been renovated, normally they're supposed to have radient heat. They're absolutely gorgeous, I hope someone saves it (land's purchased but people may be able to petition to purchase and move the house to an alternate location. If it is Durham region i'm sure this land is slated to become another bunch of windmills :(
kj John Sewell was Mayor of Ontario,Ca. It does look like America, same outlet plugs, smoke detectors ,American Products.
Its victorian soo...
Thanks
When can I move in?
The house es totally lovely in every way. I would have loved to see the original doors, kitchen and bath. I am glad that you cared enough to document its interior and share it with those of us that treasure history. ...such a shame that it was not placed on the National Register of Historic Places. I purchased a home built in the early 1900's and left everything as original as possible. They do not build houses like these anymore. I love the fact that you resecured the house when you left. That, initself says so very much.😊 Thank you for sharing. 😊💕💖💕💕
The house appears to be in excellent shape! Someone's really been taking good care of it! The place was immaculate, even the basement! Thanks for making and posting this great video of such a lovely old house! I hope it's for sale, and I hope it gets a loving owner who will take care of it for future generations!
Obviously a lot of you folks who commented love older, historic homes. Why not see if their is some kind of local or state designation process. I work on a historic preservation commission and we designate worthy homes and occaisionly other buildings. We operated under the county government. Any that are designated (must be kept up and occupied) get 1/2 off their property taxes.
Durham region historical societies would never give this 1870's house a designation. A house this age would have to have had a VERY significant Canadian living in it at one time. Even some original settlers houses don't get designation in this area of Ontario, Canada. This also makes it possible for a regular update to the house if it were to come up on the market though. You cannot add a satelite dish to a historic home here for instance. I had always thought the U.S. park service only offered 20% of the property taxes on nationaly listed buildings. The area you live in must realy want to keep older places around to offer more on top of the fed. tax rebate. Keep up the good work !!!
"State designation process"? Is that a process for designating what "state" the house is in? It would seem to be pretty obvious already, wouldn't it?
alibabafurball No "historical society" in Ontario can designate any home or building without the owners consent. Most people do not want their properties designated as it negatively affects resale value.
Looks more like temporarily unoccupied than abandoned.
Sadly, its been appropriated by the Government..
This is nice....no music! You are letting us experience it as you did. Thank you
Just found ur channel, and I love the houses u show...ty for not tlking in them.
I would make this house my own house !
Was I the only one who saw the red stuff in the toilet? O.O
Most likely camper anti-freeze, used for winterizing houses and stuff
Darrell Taylor Okay , thx for clearing that up haha
What an absolutely gorgeous home. Truly incredible how well kept it is. It's nice to know some of these still exist free of vandalism and looters. Keep up the fantastic work
This house is so beautiful! The fact that it snows during winter there makes it even more pretty. I can't understand how you didn't hesitate when opening doors or going into the basement! I could never even go into the actual house!
What a stunning old house, I loved it. Urban expansion in the UK is responsible for hundreds of lovely old houses and manors being demolished to make way for flats and terrace houses for the masses, What a shame, why isn't it protected....more money to be made ripping it down and putting up a council estate I guess!
Is this Durham, NC; or Canada; or Nova Scotia; or England; or Ontario; or Queensland? There are probably more, but these are the only ones I know about. My kids in Durham, NC have found out nothing yet!
Dov Yawetz Canada has lots of land. This house is surrounded by farmland that no one cultivates. There are no "council estates" here because there are no councils. Land is privately owned.
***** I also forgot to mention... even the lands that are under the numbered treaties/named treaties, are not *owned* by the government but - are leased by the government (NOTHING is owned by the government, it's all in the treaties), including the mineral and natural resources rights. If the government does not follow through with the treaties promises (and, remember, only indigenous peoples under the treaties are the 'status' indians) such as health care, and other agreements, the indigenous people covered under that particular treaty, have the right to revoke the rights of the lease, which then would relegate the lands back to the indigenous peoples of that land. Don't worry, 99.9% of Canadians are not aware of this type of agreement and it's why people like me take the Canadian government to a fancy little institution called the International Criminal Court (ICC) where charges of genocide and other acts of crime, are reported and eventually, dealt with at The Hague. Remember Neuremburg trials? Same sort of thing....
+Angela Chapeski Interesting! Thank you for sharing.
2:06 "Keep out"2:12 "Whatcha doin' "5:10 "It's cold without a house-coat" Listen-good people!!5:27 "Don't yell"5:53 "What Dougie"6:00 Dougie"6:02 "I want Dougie"
molla tove,
I can hear some of these evp's clearly as you mentioned.
SILVERMOON. I am glad you can hear some of them clearly. I hope the "Few" that choose to say negative shit regarding EVP, start realizing they are the one with the problem... not me. I thank you, and others for the positive comments!
Nope. Didn't listen none of them.
What??
Thank You! There are a lot more if you like EVP.
Thank you for posting this beautiful house before it is gone forever. So sad.
This house is so beautiful !! Looks like it's for sale, does'nt look abandoned. I would live in this house for sure !!! Thanks for sharing 👍
i wonder what was behind the padlocked door !
Me too!
OMG...didn't you see....the door separated the 2 stairways going upstairs!...nothing creepy about it!
It needs some work, but hardly a bulldozer project. The bones are good, hardwood mostly good.
how magnificent no vandalism and in such good condition thanks for the tour!
Magnificent home! Nice to not see it destroyed. Thanks for the tour!
Always happy to share :-)
LOVE IT - how much?? - I am ready to move in
did you move in ?
jmarylastone did you moved in ?
I wish lol - something I can only dream about
It's a nice house. Shame they couldn't let people live in the house until they build the airport, who knows when that will be. IMHO it makes more sense to exporiate land around pearson (still waiting for public transit to the airport) then durham (public transit 30+ years after airport completion), why have two airports serving one metropolitan area, seems they made that mistake in montreal, but conservatives never learn.
Pickering is slated to become ontario's main cargo airport. The two airports would have two different purposes and the whole reason they developed the 407 was to connect the two airports. Expropriating the much more expensive land around person does nothing if the issue is too much air traffic over Pearson. The Pickering airport would bring much needed jobs to durham.
JoeRobinsonOn So true - thank you for posting this.
This confirms something I was told SO many years ago. My friend's dad, (who was an engineer employed by the gov't) showed us the original plans (now the official plans), he'd helped draw up for Pickering Airport. Felt like I'd seen 'secret government documents'!
This is amazing! I went up near Whitevale around a month ago with my mom and we saw this house but there was no way we could get in. The cheerios had been replaced with glass. Upon seeing the outside of the house I remember looking at her with my jaw dropped because it was so pretty. I'm super stoked to see the inside!
PS if you wanted to check out more of the houses along that road, a few have been broken into but the rest now are boarded up tight. even this one.
I have not traveled much but seeing Canada and the majestic homes you find is pretty close to it. You are brave and capture everything. Thanks for showing a American girl your beautiful explorations. :)
please stop using that lens it takes away from the video
That was a beautiful house, Dad! Send me that address and I may have to become a Canadian. What character these old homes have that the new ones so severely lack.
Kari, as always thank you for you kind words! And MANY thanks for your Twitter support via @sippigrrl
I would love to find an old abandoned place like this and be able to move in and live off the land. This is too cool, thanks for sharing
Daadeeoh you seem to have an artistic eye therefore appreciating and recognizing all refined beauty even in such a state. I find the house very beautiful indeed and regret to see that there is no family living there in order to bring it back to its former glory. Thanks for sharing.
WOAH....DID ANYONE ELSE CATCH THAT!?!?!?!?...From 4;15 to 4:19 as he's looking into the closet, I see on the inside of the closet door an image of a child!!! definitely a toddler from what it looks like has light colored hair and I could make out the eyes and facial structure. PLEASE TELL ME SOMEONE ELSE SEES THIS IMAGE AS I DO.
+Vasyl Skvorchuk I had to go back to look but yes I saw it too.
Creepy how you say NOTHING!
michelle 1972 I don't have anything to say, I let the footage speak for itself )
I don't speak on any video's I take, Feel a bit of a prick talking to myself. I'm to shy.
***** I actually LIKE that you say nothing....nothing needs to be said.
Beautiful house but the windows were very old; looks like it has good bones! Watching this in the snowy weather makes me feel like making a pot of soup as I live in Florida and it seems very cold there. I bet those people enjoyed this clean and very neat house without a lot of junk every where and made some wonderful meals there. Thanks for the video as I always like your videos with the crunching through the snow!!
Beautiful! Wonderful to see such a jewel untouched by spray paint. I'm ready to move in! Great job
What a beautiful find! I'm glad the vandals haven't found it and hope it stays that way. I hate when I see a house destroyed due to greed and disrespect! Thank you for sharing such a magnificent house :) I subscribed, please keep them coming.
Wow, you sure have Beautiful old abandon homes in Canada, Love these videos..Thanks for doing this..
This home is Mind-Blowingly GORGEOUS!!! An absolute gem! Can't believe it doesn't have a loving family in there calling it home. Strange thing I notice was the door (to your left before you went upstairs) was padlocked...I wonder why? Oh if those walls could talk I'm sure they'd have lots of great stories to tell!. Keep 'em coming my friend, I enjoy every one of your videos!
i had to rewatch this one,i love it.im pretty sure you wouldnt find any older houses in such good condition here in Australia.you guys are so lucky over there.
its in Canada near Toronto in Pickering, hundreds more like it were taken in 1972
What a beautiful house. Exploring on such a beautiful day. I must say you have some guts to be going down into that basement alone.
The constant sound of footsteps, first in the snow, then the wood and concrete, and finally back to the snow, is somehow very memorizing.
thanks for this video it was so cool. I love seeing old homes and the abandoned ones are even cooler. Forget the negative comments. I totally agree with you, you only went in because you knew it was abandoned and you had no bad intensions.
Thank you for posting this. A very nice and solid house.
This house is an amazing house. It's so beautiful! I love the floor plans and space inside. I really loved the bathroom mirror cabinets. They looked original. The basement was fascinating it looked so old and cool. All it needs is a little bit of paint and cleaning. I noticed it already has modern appliances and modern electricity. I'm moving in!
So nice to see that this beautiful home as not been vandalized.
I love this old place. Wow! So nice to see a house that's still clean and not vandalized. I'm thinking it might cost quite a bit to heat and cool this place, but other than that, I think its grand!
My comment was made before I saw this video. Someone sure loved this place to take care of it the way it has been all these years. Right down to the basement. Unreal. I'm so sick to see this and know what will happen.Such workmanship and so beautiful. I'm so sad.
