- after i replace the Neutral Safety Switch the car did not want to crank so i bypass the ignition switch at the starter of the car by touching the direct positive terminal from the battery to the middle cable ( which is the cable that goes to the ignition switch under the steering collum ) and it cranked right away. enjoy this video and i hope it was helpful for you !
Thanks for the great video! I appreciate the fact that you took the time to show in detail, the position on the ignition actuator pieces. When I received my switch, that little brass piece was popped out of position and I didn't know where it went. But thanks to your video, I got it back together properly. Thanks again. Keep up the good work. 👍
Thanks that was great how you explained how the little brass piece has to be. Thank you.
Do you have a part number for O'Reilly? They can't find that part and want me to go to a dealer. Dealer says I have to order a whole steering column.
I don’t but the name is in the description. I think i have the part number at some point in this video.
you dont have to bypass to test... just plug the ignition switch on and use a flat head screwdriver to turn the switch... easy test buddy.
Well that’s what says on the instruction, and that’s what i present to people. But you are right i saw that when i was installing it. Just decide to do it the way the manufacture does it. But good catch, appreciate your input !
