Bodos have been living on this land since time immemorial i.e.Thousands of years before the epic period of Ramayana & Mahabharata, which is found mentioned in those great scriptures as well as in Puranas & other scriptures. They are the aboriginal & earliest inhabitants of this part of land. They originally descended from Bot Countries (Tibbot ) 10's of thousands of years before from now, ( since when there were no boundaries or demarcations of land & kingdoms on this Mother Earth), through the some Himalayan pass & spread on vast region of North India & Northeast India ( which is now called) along the Brahmaputra Valley and then far Southeast up to pathkai hills from West to East, not from East to West. Bathuo religion, in fact, is the oldest traditionally descended religion on this Earth. It might be as old as the known civilization of mankind. Im completely disagree with u because there is no any evidence that kirat are ashur and danavs. We don't have any features like ashur and danavs as mentioned in hindu culture. In hindu culture dev and danav\ashur are the son of ditee and aditee. BUT kirat are mentioned as shiva putra(As kirat mundhum). And several kirat kings were participate in mahabharat war. I don't think so.. some of Boro People (means Kachari peoples who live in mainly lower assam) also write kachari, Mech surname. All Boro kachari, Rabha kachari, Dimasa kachari , Sonowal Kachari, Mech, Mlech belong to same race.. they were spreading in many groups and because of less communication to old race some of their groups are mixed culturally, linguistically with other co-existing communities.

Boro kocharies were great ruler in North Eastern part of Indian peninsular since time of immemorial. In course of time it been scattered into clans and reason which witness the vulnerable of its rich dialect, culture and traditions In order to retain our status we need to produce hundreds of scholars to research on this particular issue. We can't accept the histories being written by scholars who witnessed that the king of Bodo/Boro kocharies were weak.

The Boro people whom we spoke to were comfortable in Bodo and Bengali only. So only language left for our communication was Bengali. It was a practical limitation. And we really felt sorry about it and we discussed about it among ourselves also after the shoot. But, your idea of accepting Hindi rather than Bengali is indicating some other agenda and that's more objectionable probably. Think over it once, we are not here to fight rather our intention is to come close to each other with respect. We respect your language and culture and that's the reason which pushed us to do this documentation work. Now we feel that we should have known each other in the time of our research and shoot. Limboo, Rai, tamang, Sherpa, lepcha, dhimal, bhutia, mech r not mixed with Bengali. Koch rajbanshi r mixed with Bengali. One tribal also donot mix with others. Nepali( Indo ayran pahadi language ) connects as lingua Franca in hills n foothills n Bengali ( Indo aryan language ) in plains. But tribal custom is followed by them.

@@rajivsarmah8413 i think you are shooting in air.North bengal especially coochbihar regions consists of indigenous groups like mech,mandai,Koch rajbongshis,bodos etc,while the others you mentioned are Nepali tribes indigenous of Darjeeling.

Boros are distinct and never a part of Assamese umbrella. It is just forcibly assimilated into and that's the truth.
One's identity has to be known by it's origin. Why are we always forced to characterized ourselves to others, who aren't related to us in anyway.
Assamese are Assamese, I don't want to know who they are. However, Boros are Boros' and that's who we are. It doesn't matter if we are internally bleeding or externally backward. But we have our own distinctive identity no matter what.
