In this video, I have shared my experience of exploring the tribal market of Khgarachari. The Chakma people are a tribal group from the eastern-most regions of the Indian subcontinent. They are the largest ethnic group in the Chittagong Hill Tracts region of southeastern Bangladesh, and the second-largest in Mizoram, India (Chakma Autonomous District). Other places in Northeast India also have significant Chakma populations. Around 50,000 Chakmas live in Arunachal Pradesh, India; a first generation migrated there in 1964 after the Kaptai Dam tragedy. Also, 40,000-50,000 Chakmas live in Tripura, India, and 20,000-30,000 in Assam, India.

The partition not only divided people of Punjab or Bengal but also the ethnic groups of northeast and Chittagong hills. I'm shocked to see the similarity between them and northeast. Would love to visit Bangladesh too... Let's see

This video or the market didn't felt like anything from Bangladesh. It felt like a weekly market in Kokrajhar or Chirang or any such tribal districts of Assam. The Chittagong Division especially the Chittagong Hill Tracts has a lot of natural places. Seeing the natural beauty makes the heart happy. You can visit Mahadev Temple on Chandranath hill in Sitakunda upazila. You can see the longest sea beach in the world at Cox's Bazar. You can visit the Adinath Temple in Maheshkhali, the only hilly island upazila located in the memory of Ravana. You can go to Bandarban and see the Buddhist Golden Temple. You would love to visit St. Martin, the only coral island in Bangladesh. There are many more places to visit but mainly these places are the best places to visit in Bangladesh.
