I tell her to f*€k off in a polite way and now I'm a literally 10 student in programming, a market that can't stop growing and need workers, if I take her advice I would have a hard time passing test for access to a job that is going to ruin peoples lifes (you should check spanish cases like Cofidis if you don't believe that sentence). What I'm saying is that those "experts" are lazy b*st*rds that don't make anything for the society and won't make you do anything for society. How if they couldn't?
the funny thing about dreams is that the vast majority of people will never realize them. do not follow your dreams. do a job that makes you work hard. you may not have to like it, but if it has you working hard at it eventually you will come to grow a passion for it

hey rip, this is gonna sound sarcastic, but THANK YOU FOR POPULARIZING THE LOW BAR SQUAT for starting lifters. I was high bar and kept hurting my lowest back bc i was shifting it around in the bottom of the lift under progressively heavier loads. after lots of self film review and listening to you talk about the squat so much my girlfriend got jealous of the time i've spent with you, i've doubled my squat in 8 months, newbie gains in 2020 of course still, THANKS!!

Please tell them to fix this. I would rather get a SS barbell for this program then an Ohio power bar, but I won’t wait 4 months to get my bar when they say the least time is 8 weeks. Just tell them to be upfront

I cleaned up the hex bolt bar with a wire brush and sold it for $80. I guess I should’ve tried to ship it to some fool asses living out on the coast damn!
World Olympic weightlifting has a doping problem. But the NGO for weightlifting here in the US seems to have the same issue as Judo. Sad really. Wish more could be done to bring both sports into much more popularity.

I usually grind them out in sets of 5, with 10 minutes of rest in between that I spend listening to the podcast. This video is 1 hour and 8 minutes long, so that's a heavy session with what used to be at least 5 comments and all that work to boost the podcast in the RUclips algorithm. My opening comment would have been about the first question from a caller, pertaining to how Rippetoe managed his time in college. What a stupid question. Boozing, snoring, and going from one-night stand to one-night stand, of course, always accompanied by his little orangutan (which he used to start conversations with among likely prospects for the night), usually all of these activities on one evening and multiple evenings a week. All college time is like that. Of course, these days it includes pissing off the Marxist teachers by slashing or puncturing their tyres in the parking lot, or saying all lives matter (especially white ones with stable day jobs and families to take care of), or asking questions in class about the gulags and why socialists always feel it necessary to put people in mass graves. I got plenty of practicing finishing in college, but I didn't finish college itself. Now I'm a bottom 3%, but even that has become a useless job. Is nobody reading the comments, then? :(

People who are desperate for plates. Just go buy the caveman molds and start arts and crafts. Its easy, effective, and cheap (comparatively). Not counting the mold, a 45 costs about 5 bucks per. make a bunch and sell em, if you want.
Also check out Buff Dudes DIY rack, bench, bar and plates videos and there are plenty of others on youtube and the net. If you are concerned about having the right height plates for deadlifts and can't mold that into the plates, you can use a block or shims of wood. There really is no excuse.
Ze TheGame ehhh not true the most important thing is technique. I have been weightlifting since I was 12. Deadlift is basically irrelevant to weightlifting strength.

sorry Rip I don't think weightlifting has anything to do being strong, much of it is barbell ballet that requires much more tubbyness than strength, especially the snatch. edit: yes being ridiculously stronger helps but weightlifters squat as well, usually they're not too bad

you have thickened walls or enlarged heart? Those are two different problems (and they're only problems if they're widely outside normal ranges)
