I dont understand why they made the choice to pretend that Kristensen is actually singing the chorus? Like Pontus isnt good live, but Kristensen is straight up lip syncing the chorus... lol
kristensen is actually screaming lightly on the main track in the stems so would explain why he does live . Plus Pontus has stage fright from what I can remember so he isn't confident .
Studio has so many voice effects on it. Pontus isn't a great vocalist and has never been. He, at least, is not capable of hitting the high notes live at all, he even skips not that high notes that shouldn't be a problem for any OK singer. Other members, including Kristensen, is great though. Band's golden era in terms of live performances was in the early days when Jimmy was doing both cleans & screams, and then since 2010 when Zandro joined(clearly the best clean vocalist they have ever had, even though he wasn't flawless at all). When Zandro left, Pontus took over the vocals role on permanent basis, and they haven't even tried to find a new one when Pontus is clearly, at least, can't keep up the level Jimmy/Zandro set before. Idk what's the issue here. I don't think they don't have any other variants than continuing with Pontus, or at least make Pontus take some vocal lessons so he could really improve his singing...

But because of his love for vocal processing, he doesn't pull what he wrote on the fourth album and singles. And he wants to sound exactly like in them, apparently. But damn, it sounds so wretched live. I don't understand why he wouldn't just do it like before.
It's not even that Pontus can't sing (he's obviously not a great singer), there's just so many effects in their studio versions. It makes their songs sound impressively well but it's also just impossible to replicate live. Even the best singer in the world wouldn't be able to sound well live singing this songs. It's time to accept DBA is a studio band and going to their live shows is kind of dumb unless you wanna hear them lip sync and destroy their own songs.

Seriously they are 2nd most favorite band but looking their live performance they suck so bad , are they singing any part?
