Every one of them! lol ! Patrick is a hot mess but at least he recognizes it. Tashi doesn't care because as long as she gets good f***ing tennis she's happy. And Art created the mess between Tashi and Patrick, so ultimately caused Tashi's injury which makes him the reason for the MAJORITY of the whole movie, IMO.
@@dpirene1 Art didnt caused anything lol, both were adults that fought because they didnt communicate well, and Tashi is responsable for her own injury in her own game, someone making you angry/ anxious doesnt automatically makes them guilty if you get an accident for being emotional, specially when is just a messy breakup, not someone dying.
@@v3l877 He kind of did though and on purpose. He knew Patrick was coming that day and just so happened to invite Tashi to lunch (yeah right). Hè told her 'he doesn't love you' and that same day told Patrick she doesn't care so that was the start and she got really pissed when Patrick said he wasn't a part of her little fan club. Then they had a big argument (I'm sure each of their feelings were kind of hurt), she played her match and with those emotions upsetting her, she wasn't on top of her game and the crunch happened.
I'm so obsessed with this movie! I'm Team Throuple all the way, ultimately my read is all three characters have a piece that the other needs in order to feel whole.
The shot that Art did wasn't legal. Neither of them won, and that's the point. Also, Luca said that Art, Patrick, and Tashi all went back to the hotel room after the match. 💀
I LOVED every messy, complex, toxic, co-dependent minute of this movie! Not a cookie cutter film at all. The cinematography is superb. The time jumps are like a tennis match. The music seems like it wants you to feel the emotions of the scenes versus the actual spoken words. It's the best movie I've seen in the last few years! Just BRILLIANT!
No one has won the match. They're still on a tie break. Art has touched the net so lost that point. We won't know who won.. I think Art is the bottom to both Patrick and Tashi, the gum spitting thing is a metaphor. And Patrick telling Tashi he's not a lapdog like Art. Also notice how Patrick is holding Art's neck when they snog, and how he pulls that chair next to him during the churro scene. And yes Josh O'Connor is babygirl lol.
I love analyzing movies with “why did this character do this and that” etc but I was baffled by this ending and her screaming etc. you explained it better than anything I’ve found online 👌
Plot setup: Art is sleeping, Tashi is up and busy Art is working out, and we see his scar from an injury he recovered from physically. Tashi expects more from him after his smooth recovery.
I enjoyed this movie as well. I went and saw it with my mom and I called that Patrick was gonna do that move a few minutes before he did it to signal to Art that he and Toshi hooked up. I gotta watch it again
Art knew that Tashi cheated with Patrick in Atlanta and had not brought it up. This was probably because he chooses to "win the points that matter". Confronting Tashi then would have ended their engagement and he would have lost her. He was willing to accept an occasional slip as long as she stayed with him. That's why I think he will stay with her after New Rochelle because she went with Patrick in New Rochelle to make sure that Art wouldn't lose the game and she wouldn't have to leave him. It's the weird way that Tashi was showing her love for Art. Also Art knew that Tashi had left their room that night, so he probably suspected that Tashi was going to meet with Patrick
Who’s the messiest character?

Definitely, Tashi!
Art. The secret snake!

Oo i like the comparison of time jumps to tennis. I didn’t think abt it like that
I love this one liner…
Patrick 🤍 Art, Art 🤍 Tashi, Tashi 🤍 Tennis.

P.S. I too loved the "plot" of this movie 🤭

I'm glad we finally get full frontal. Movies have shown breasts for years. Anatomy is Anatomy. A naked body doesn't have to be sexualised.
The plot being sexy people but the thumbnail oh help 😩😩😩😩😩😜🥹
did you notice there were peaches in the room? 😂 3:42
No I didn’t omgg
