The closest synth, at least in regards to the filter and its behavior, is the latest version of the Jupiter 4. The Jupiter 6 sounds much bigger and the filter has a different behavior, which clearly affects the coloring of the sound. In addition, the Jupiter 6 has two envelopes, 2 LFOs, Multimode Filter, Split-Mono-Unison Mode, Portamento ... many more things that allow the creation of a much greater variety of sounds. This doesn't detract from the fact that the JX3p in its simplicity sounds in a unique way!
Thanks David! The sound goes through the Tascam M15b mixing desk preamp and then via direct out is digitally recorded 24bit / 44.1kHz on the DAW. On tape I record the masters of my songs, to be exact on a Telefunken Magnetophon M15A.
I'll never sell my JX-3P ... lovely sound and great playin Sebastian!
Just bought a mint second hand version together with Juno 6 and JX-8P. This is some inspiring playing! Bravo
Amazing synth and play! Still quite underrated machine even as it is the same league as Juno 60.
I'd keep my JX-3P over my JU-06 any day. It's truly one of the most under rated synthesizers ever made :)
Much better sounding than I expected.
The patches and the added effects are a perfect combination here. :-)
What wonderful patches! I adore the 3p... Subscribed!
Still one of my favorite… simple but instantly good.
Had one of these but stupidly sold it for next to nothing. How foolish of me when I think of it now🙂Great oldschool sounding polysynth👍👍
lol
Are these your patches? Where can I get or buy them? :)
Questa è magia!
Sono incantato 😮
Lovely!
Suoni fantastici e atmosfere da sogno.
Bravo Seb!
Comunque se Roland rimettesse in produzione synth come JX3P, farebbe cosa buona e giusta...
😉❤️🔊🎶
Are these patches available anywhere?
Great Vid
Do you sell the patches?
got mine not as sweet as the 60 but with the ring and synch sounds they play well together
So nice to hear nicely played jx3p. I see you have a JP6 as well. Since they share a lot of components, would you compare them soundwise as similar?

@@sunsmayflower I have both as well and could not agree more!
Would you share this great patches?
I'm highly interested in the patches as well. Any chance? Great playing btw!
Your stuff always sounds great. Love your music. Curious are you recording to tape or is this digtal?

Thanks for the info on your recording environment. It sounds so warm. Keep it up!
Nice demo! A longtime friend still has his, with the external programming panel.
3:40 ... good!
In a weak moment, I sold mine. Still regret it.
